We loved Gretel’s place - it was a beautiful spot and we felt right at home. It has a fantastic kitchen, a spacious living area, nice bedrooms and a great porch. The pool was really refreshing and was a nice escape from the afternoon heat. We also got to see some amazing wildlife close up - we were visited by some squirrel monkeys, a howler monkey, a toucan and a pair of Scarlett Macaws. It is in close proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park and a bunch of other excursions and near many great local restaurants. I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Gil's place!.... The house was exactly as pictured, location was perfect and the view at night is priceless.... We would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay here again.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed away from home, and I travel a lot. The backyard of this house is the national park. This place was everything and more. We saw monkeys every day, multiple times a day. The monkeys passed right through the back yard and sat there to play and hang out in perfect view for 2-3 hours. Chipuken monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler momeys, scarlet macaws, tucans, etc. We saw it ALL! The dip pool is awesome and you even have an ocean view! Definitely worth the booking. Sam and Raquel were absolutely amazing host and will take care of all your needs while you are there and will tell you all about the things to do and see. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was immaculately clean and John and Dani were great at communicating. Our family loved the pool and hot tub and all the space. We would love to go back!

We had such an incredible stay at casa blanco in hatillo. It way the perfect home away from home. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We traveled with 3 kids. 8yrs, 5yrs, and 8 months. They provided us with a crib and a high chair for the baby at no extra cost. The pool was the perfect size for our kids to play in and felt safe. The house is very secluded and felt super safe. We loved the town. We liked walking down the hill to the mini mart and getting pizza at pizza surf time. The kitchen also has AC which we weren’t expecting but we were happy to have it. The house is just a short drive to Dominical. It was a perfect stay and I highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! Beautiful, spotless home with amazing views, wonderful indoor/outdoor living space and all amenities you need. It was a gorgeous place to spend time and relax. Watching the macaws come and go was a highlight. Daily housekeeping was immaculate and Vanessa was friendly, responsive and helpful. The home is at the top of a very steep road so the free shuttle service down to the beach was helpful. We would definitely return for a stay here again.

Katrin’s place was large and had tons of space, enough to accommodate a large group. We also loved the pool. I would not recommend allowing her to book a night jungle tour on your behalf with the company Sukia, as we did not enjoy it and found it quite boring. There were also ants covering the kitchen and crawling constantly on the counters even though we were careful not to leave food items out unless we were actively using them. The ants are unavoidable in such a humid climate but we didn’t enjoy them and we also had some stowaways in our luggage that managed to leave with us. Hopefully we find and get rid of them all before we arrive to our home. Otherwise, her place was great and fully stocked. We do recommend this place if the aforementioned items aren’t deal breakers for you!

If you could give them 100 stars the host and his wife are incredible people friendly, sociable and very helpful, that place makes you feel at home, the beautiful and quiet environment, close to any beach and above all the perfect house, spotless, well equipped, soon we will be happy, a thousand times recommended. If you’re looking for a place in San Jose, that is an amazing value for the money and is within walking distance or a 10 minute drive from so many activities, then this is it. WHAT I LOVED: The inside of the property has clean modern finishes and a minimalist interior design. The host was extremely responsive, and the security was very friendly and extremely helpful. Each of the bedrooms had a full bathroom inside of it, which is great, especially if you are sharing the condo with another couple. Also, there is a half bathroom in the great room as well. WHAT WOULD MAKE THIS PROPERTY IDEAL: Temp Control It was a little bit odd that there was only one air-conditioning unit, and it was in one of the master bedrooms that receive the most sun, so it got a little bit warm during the day, but it was still very comfortable Upgraded linens All of the bedsheets, blankets and pillows and bathroom towels were a little cheap but everything was clean

Fernando was a great host! Space was clean and easy to access.

Building security with parking garage made the stay comfortable, great location, lots of things to see and do including great restaurants.

It's an easy place to get to, very comfortable and safe, recommended.

The apartment is located in a safe neighbourhood close to a park and art gallery. It is very modern and contains everything you need for a comfortable stay including fast wifi and kitchen utensils. I would definitely stay again.

Me and my partner really enjoyed staying at Gabriel’s place. It was clean easy to check in the car. Elevator was pretty cool and there’s tons to do in the area walking distance. We felt safe and it was a convenient place to stay right before you headed to the airport in the morning.

Guido gave us detailed instructions for check-in and was really helpful with a last min request. View of the studio is nice and the building staff are great. Good location too!

Great place and security...

This place is really nice. It is in an artistic setting with several building amenities. It is a comfortable space with hosts who were responsive to my questions. I enjoyed staying here and can't wait to return.

Perfect place, a lot of restaurant nearby with good food and bars. The building is very nice, has a gym, a pool, a coworking space. It can get noisy, but thats the busy town of san juan. Very good communication with Jennifer.

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

Unfortunately we couldn’t make it , due to a last minute change of plans… still the host was very responsive and helpful. I’m looking forward to booking it again in the near future

It's my second time staying at Norman's place. It's one of my favorite places to stay while I'm on San Jose, a quiet neighborhood walkable, with some great places to eat nearby. Norman was kind tk send the recommendations. The unit clean and tidy, and is nicely decorated. I love the desk, it's very comfortable to work at. I also appreciated the Italian espresso maker but there was also a regular filter coffee machine. Great stay, thanks, Norman.

Jorge was a great host and the place was immaculate. Exactly as described and a very responsive host. Building amenities are great and lots to do in the area. If we are in the areas again we will stay here again.

Everything was excellent. The communication was great, and the location is fantastic. There are many great restaurants nearby. The place was clean, and the staff was always very helpful.
