This place is really awesome I highly recommend it if you are planning to stay near the Irazu volcano. The place has great views that you can basically see most of San Jose and Cartago if there are no clouds. Maria Laura was very responsive and she even gave us tortillas de queso! I really liked the jacuzzi but keep in mind that Chicua is generally cold so be prepared with good sweaters. Also, there are heaters in the room to keep you warm at night. I would definitely stay in this place again!

This is a great place to connect with nature, sunrises and peace. We appreciated that you had screens on the windows, as many places do not. The drive ways is very steep and our truck was too big to park in the driveway, yet the walk was not so far. We loved the place.

Stan and kaleigh's home in Savegre was perfect for me and my family of 4. The home itself is absolutely beautiful! The pool and property is private with such amazing views, surrounded by nature, and perfect home base after spending our days at the nearby beaches, nayuaca falls, and manuel antonio! It was so nice to come back to the relaxing pool, the hammocks, and peace and quiet. Stan and kaleigh's recommendations were great for activities and restaurants. The location is a bit out of the way, but very convenient to drive and we loved the feel of being part of the local community. A 4x4 is a must to get up the road and the driveway can be tricky but is all worth it. Highly recommend a meal at the matapalo supper club. The home is well appointed and stan and kaleigh are great hosts and have provided everything we could think of. The beds are comfortable. Our only wish is to have stayed longer and to have spent more time in the house!

Great find. Good building. The area is good for Sabana and central to most locations to jump to. Good for walking Sabana every morning. The apt is nice. We would return for sure.

I couldn’t expect any better. Martinique went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasurable as possible. Fully equipped with everything you need so cozy great decor. The location is spot on .. close to great restaurants, parks and grocery stores. 100% recommend!! Ty Martinique .. PS I hope I’m spelling your name correctly 😉

We stayed a couple of days where Cristian to rest and recharge batteries. He is very nice and friendly. The apartment had everything we needed, from a delicious coffee, to extra blankets for the cold. We highly recommend it.

Very attentive at the time of entering the facilities, Nancy is a very kind and attentive person, since, I gave us information about a place to dine, even though it was very night. The place was very clean, very quiet and provide a warm atmosphere. Nearby establishments and in general Nancy and her husband are very friendly people

Great place, but a bit noise. The pool was not heated and parking its far away from the lifts. However, I would stay again if I have a chance.

Thank you, it is a lovely little cabin in an awesome surrounding! We saw Hummingbirds in the trees beside the house and Quetzals in the back and along the road a bit further down plus at least 10 more bird species. The house is simple but sufficiently equipped, everything is very clean, Wifi is ok most if the times, blankets were comfortly warm at night and parking is very easy in front of the house. Everything is so peaceful! Restaurants are not far in walking distance. 4x4 is advised for the road (mostly paved, but sometimes quite steep). Dirchy and Amanda (at the reception) were very helpful and super friendly. We love to come back!

I was looking for a peaceful place, in contact with nature and I found it. I loved the view of the mountains, the trail to the river and the bird watching. For those who love the cold, the perfect place. The cabin is well-equipped for cooking and the beds are warm and comfortable. I took my dog and she had a great time, very quiet. Super recommended for a getaway from the stress of the city.

Beautiful place on a beautiful finca. Special for nature lovers. You can hike. As it is inside a dairy, for small children it is very striking. The house is very cozy, has everything you need and even has a special fireplace for the cold at night. We really recommend the place if you want to relax and rest from the city, although it offers very good internet and cable. We would love to come back!.

Super cute cabin in a very quiet and peaceful location. We were able to have a nice bonfire at night and the restaurant had the best food of our entire trip to Costa Rica. The fresh strawberries were delicious and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. It’s a stunning view and such a nice getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing views. Great for bird watching and immerse in nature. The villa looks brand new, everything works perfectly except there’s no heating system so it’s difficult to stay warm at some times during the day and night. You definitely need a 4x4 for a little part of the road closer to the house. Worth the price!
