Hotel vacation rentals in Dota

Everything was very nicely decorated and especially in the evening we had a very nice atmosphere. The price was fair. There was only a misunderstanding about the washing machine, where $10 is a common price for laundry. Thank You!

Hotel Santo Tomás was lovely. A little boutique hotel oasis in the heart of San Jose and so close to all the things to do. Finding it was a bit tough but it was very dark and we were very jet lagged. In the daytime it would've been no problem at all. They have secure parking facilities, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and the attention to detail of the hotel itself was spectacular. So many places to sit and just relax in the beautiful weather. Thomas sat and chatted with us and other guests over breakfast and had all sorts of recommendations, tips, maps, places to go and things to do. He is an absolute gem and can guide you in all things Costa Rica.

A BEAUTIFUL oasis and amazing deal. We felt so welcomed by the staff working there, especially Amanda. The grounds were stunning with plans through, the pool was a treat! Breakfast was made fresh and delicious. We loved our private shower outside the room. The yoga studio was stunning and such a great class. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We'll be back!

Great place with easy beach access but worth knowing that you will have to wade through waste deep water to access the beach. However, it was 100% worth it! Staff was great and they are very helpful and kind.

Great location, very quiet, very friendly staff!!!

Excellent location right on the beach (okay, it's 10 feet away, across the beach walk ...) and an excellent pool and lounge around area for when you're ready to rest. Easy to walk to the rest of the little town, too. The breakfast was outstandingly delicious. Watch the hot water in the rooms - it is really hot. A/C was quite nice. Staff was attentive, as well.

Everything was great. Very clean. Very beautiful place. The staff were extremely friendly and provided amazing service. Moises in particular (who works at the bar near the pool), was quick, attentive, and took the time to get to know his customers. He is always smiling and greets you everytime. Very peaceful place. This place also has a bar with music and kareoke at the at the top floor with lots of board games available which was fun. You can see workers constantly cleaning everywhere, day and night, it is extremely clean and beautiful.

Ana & Alfonzo were very kind, considerate, helpful hosts. We had a bit of an issue with our phones & had to go over to the mall to find a sim card. At night. After no sleep & a 5 hour flight. So we got lost. So they found us wandering & drove us to the mall. The next night the same thing happened & Ana got worried about us & sent Alfonzo out to find us. Eventually, we did find our way ( the walk is slighly hilly & not for the unfit) Our Hosts are good people, laid back people. The home is peaceful, clean, comfortable. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, lovely cool breeze coming in & the sweet family dog saying Buenas Dias by poking her head in the window. We were there for dental work for one week & will be back for sure!

This was incredible place to stay and I would love to return again. The photos truly don't do it justice. As per the description, a 4x4 vehicle is necessary to get there. The location is great in that you can drive to a number of beaches and activities and I wish I could have stayed longer, but I was heading to a wedding and staying with the other guests. I was up at 4 am both days to utilize the public spaces including access to a communal kitchen and pool. I also hiked and swam a waterfall on the property twice and saw monkeys and a number of beautiful birds on the property. The spa hit the spot and watching the sun rise over the mountains and ocean with a whirlpool massage was a great way to start the day. Pascal was a great host and I'd love to start planning another trip!

This villa was perfect. Sheryl and dennys were so nice and helpful to us when we needed anything. The ocean view is magic, and you’ll see so much wildlife here- titi monkeys, macaws, different tropical birds. This hotel was quiet to us, not noisy in the slightest other than with sounds of nature. Tico breakfast was 10$ every morning and really good at the hotel.

Highly recommended, it is very central and safe, the service is exceptional, everything they offer is there and more, it is a family atmosphere, on behalf of our family we highly recommend it. They can go with their eyes closed.👌

An excellent place to rest with the family , the rooms equipped and clean. Great views of the clean and functional sunsets and common areas.

Cara's ecolodge is an amazing place to stay. You are immersed in nature and it's incredibly peaceful there. The waterfall and the river on the property are a huge plus and we enjoyed them both very much. The caretakers and Cara are super friendly and Doña Luz's food down the street was delicious. We wished we could have eaten her meals everyday of the trip! Couldn't recommend this place more!

Great hosts and nice place to stay in San José.

We loved staying at Mountain Top Park. The hotel is in a great location, with magnificent views to both the ocean and the jungle. It takes a short drive to get to Manuel Antonio national park. The rooms were clean and have comfortable beds. They offer guided tours through the hanging bridges so you can see nature in detail. We saw monkeys, toucans and iguanas during our stay. But probably what we liked the most was the staff. They were very nice and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was the best hotel in our trip. Would definitely recommend it!
