Monthly Rentals in Dorn

We had a great stay at Melvin’s cottage for three nights. Everything was exactly as described and the cottage was very comfortable for our family of four people. We explored the cotswolds easily keeping this as our base, and would surely be back in the future. Thanks Mel for a great stay.

A charming, spacious cottage, Honeystones is furnished in a cosy and home from home style. The bedrooms are particularly spacious, beds comfy and the extra shower/basin and downstairs WC added to our sense of comfort. The kitchen had everything we needed, with plenty of tea, coffee and basic cooking essentials available. The main bathroom has been very nicely refurbished. The steep and slightly uneven stairs, creaky floorboards and wonky doors add to the quirky, traditional and endearing features of Honeystones. We were visiting with our dog and found plenty of spaces to walk him, though it is worth noting that with no garden or access to attached outside space, toileting your dog means a walk, not a problem at all for us, just very grateful to find good, dog friendly accommodation. On street parking was no problem. It is an easy, flat walk into Moreton. Varied places to eat, lovely shops and super Tuesday market. We would be happy to stay again when visiting the area.

A beautiful place to stay in a lovely location. It is about 15 mins walk from the train station which was super convenient. There's a Tesco Express in the town which was handy for picking up some bits for breakfast etc. Kate is a very responsive and helpful host, giving some local recommendations (including The White Hart which we went to for dinner on our first evening which was wonderful!). It's a quiet road so you don't hear much traffic at all, which helped for a peaceful night's sleep. Bed is super comfy as well and the shower is nice and quite powerful. Basic toiletries were supplied too eg shower gel. We did a day trip to Stow-on-the-Wold, and did a 4mile walk from there to Bourton-on-the-Water which was a nice flat and scenic route. It was only a short trip but we would definitely book to stay at Kate's again and stay for longer, to explore the Cotswold more. Would loved to have visited the Batsford Arboretum and falconry centre which we'll do next time. Thanks Kate!

I had a brilliant time staying in Maureen’s Barn Annex. She was very friendly and helpful and even gave me a lift from the station and to a cafe on my first day. She was also very helpful when I asked for some recommendations. The annex itself was perfectly located, clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Thanks for a brilliant stay!
