Barbara was a great host. The house was perfect come rain or shine. The Spar shop in Carraroe is only 5 minutes away and was as good as any medium sized supermarket with great choice. Don’t miss the Realt pub if you want a good pint of Guinness

Swimmers Rest 200m from the Beach in Salthill

We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to the beach as well as coffee shops/restaurants. The place was lovely and nice inside. Our internet wasn't working and wasn't able to be fixed in time for us before we left. All in all a great spot and would stay again.

Bernie’s Rest

FergalRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Bernie's Rest is one of those rare finds that you hesitate to review—not because it doesn't deserve it, but because it so deserves it that you're tempted to keep it a secret. From the moment we arrived, Dominic and Gráinne made us feel completely at home, striking the perfect balance of warm hospitality and genuine care. The cottage itself is a beautifully converted haven perched right on the water’s edge, where nature truly wraps around you. From birds feeding their young to the cheerful cluck of the most charming, friendly chickens you’ll ever meet, the whole setting brings a deep sense of peace and joy. Inside, the home is perfect, a fully equipped kitchen, a fantastic shower, cozy and stylish living area with strong WiFi and a great TV, and the kind of bed that makes you want to sleep in, just a little bit longer. Whether you're doing nothing, or setting out to explore the wild beauty of Loop Head, this place is a couple’s dream getaway. We will be back, thanks Gràinne & Dominic.

Rockfield Cottage

ElmarRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were two families staying in the house and were very comfortable. The house is very spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. Kinvara is a beautiful town and the nearby surroundings had so much to do! Traught beach was especially lovely where we went for a dip and a sauna. We recommend the place whole heartedly and hope to have the fortune to stay here again in the future!

Doughmore Country House has 4 double bedrooms

TobiasRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Beautiful location and plenty of space for our group for dinner and having a drink in the evenings, plenty of bathrooms and showers too. Also plenty of plates, mugs, glasses etc. The walk to the town is along a main road which was fine during the day but you would definitely want some high-vis once it got dark! Cooking for everyone required a bit of coordination as there wasn’t one large saucepan/pot but we managed! Plenty of shops nearby so we could be well stocked for the week, the fridge + smaller fridge was perfect for the number of people, would definitely go back with a group again!

Elegant Seaside Retreat in the Gaeltacht

The place was easy to find, and smelled clean and fresh upon arrival. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace for cosy evenings, and the house kept fairly warm. Comfy beds and a familiar feel to the place despite us never having been there previously. If we’re ever in Clare again, we’ll hope to book anew. Thanks for having us!

Amazing getaway with 3 Mothers and our children. House was so ideal for our needs, served both parents and childrens needs(games, a library of children's books, play house) to make it a fun and relaxing break . The house is spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean. Couldn't recommend it anymore. Will definitely be back.

Luxury 5 bed home with seaviews on Inis Mor

Trish Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
This house is so spacious, comfortable, clean, bright, modern and peaceful. It is a bit away from the main village, but there are plenty of taxi's. Michael, who collected us from the airport was so helpful and even stopped by the local shop for us to stock up. He made sure we knew how everything worked in the house. We had a lovely tour of the island by local man Tommy, who was very knowledgable and was so giving with his time. Then Mairtin, who is fun and a character took us back to the airport on our return home This is a perfect house for a family or a large gathering of people. I would highly recommend this house.

This cottage is in a remote area with amazing views. It is a short drive from the main tourist spots with beautiful scenery on every route. Aoife kindly accommodated myself and my dog. The fenced in decking area was perfect for keeping my dog safe. It was also a lovely spot to enjoy the evening sunshine...I was lucky to get beautiful weather during my stay. There is also a lovely place for food not far from the cottage - Glynsk House. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this location.
