Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! My partner, doggy and myself had an incredible time at Catrionas. We stayed for two nights and sat in both evenings and enjoyed the amenities. Catriona has three lovely dogs and so many cute farm animals - we were lucky enough to see baby bell as a 3 week old lamb. Most importantly Catriona was very accommodating of our dog who can be a bit funny (being very kind), she was a great host. Her place is the most perfect tranquil piece of heaven! Would recommend it to everyone :)

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The wood-burning hot tub was a highlight—though it took about 2–3 hours of tending the fire to heat up, it was incredibly relaxing once ready. The surrounding ponds added a peaceful, scenic touch, and we really enjoyed walking around the area. Peter was a responsive and helpful host, especially when I accidentally left something behind—he kindly let me return to pick it up. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay.

My wife and I had a lovely time at a charming little cottage. The atmosphere was cozy, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub immensely. We also liked having a bonfire outside for extra warmth and fun. Although it rained during our stay, we found that the cottage had good sound systems and a TV. This allowed us to listen to music and enjoy a wonderful evening indoors. Overall, we highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway! :)

The house is gorgeous and so cosy. Mairead was so friendly and helpful and we had a brilliant time. pics don't do it justice was a fab little retreat. absolutely recommend. Glenties is a lovely wee town too and locals were so friendly. had an amazing trip

Loved it - we'll 100% be back (and we try not to go to the same place twice!) The cottage was a perfect mix of rustic, beautiful, clean, practical and spacious. We usually book older properties with a bit of charm; Shaun's place had this AND felt both premium. Muffins and apple pie were waiting for us when we arrived - a lovely touch. And his mum baked a birthday cake on request! Shaun was super-responsive to any queries. We had a few difficulties with the Aga cooker and Shaun helped out quickly. The only improvement we can think of is to secure the back garden - it was big and private, but dogs can easily walk from the back garden out onto the road at the front of the cottage. It would have been perfect if we could have left dogs outside unattended for short periods. Only flagging this for fellow dog-owners. Lovely beds, bathrooms, living area, kitchen and the 'green house' out the back was perfect for a few evening wines while cookingout there too :) Brilliant stay.

We had the best time staying in the cottage. Danielle was extremely helpful and responsive. The space is absolutely beautiful and cosy. We loved the bed by the fire. Already can’t wait to come back thank you for having us!

Kathleen’s place is set in the most beautiful location with views of the mountains. The great big enclosed was perfect for our dog who didn’t want to leave it! Our break wasn’t long enough, so will definitely be back to explore more!

We had a great time at the lovely cottage, authentic and warm. Paddy is a charming man, concerned about our well-being. His advice is valuable. We really enjoyed her kindness. And then, how can we not mention Jack? A pleasure to find it every morning and evening when returning from a walk. We discovered Donegal in the best possible conditions.

Just lovely wee place.. the fully fenced garden was brilliant for my dog, the garden is huge, the cottage was very cosy, very warm, bed comfortable, shower great. Noreen was a great communicative host and even supplied a ball for my dog!! Would not hesitate to recommend area, property and host... we had bad weather one day, a perfect excuse to just curl up and and indulge In the fabulous home, heat and a book!! Everything was as described, perfectly clean and everything you could want for a short or long stay!!

Our stay at the Caraig Cottage was everything we’d hoped for. It was cozy, warm, and relaxing and Sinead was a stellar host that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage itself was a stunning space of rustic beauty and serenity, which we would’ve been content with on its own, but the surrounding landscape took our experience to another level. We were immersed in the wild beauty of the mountains, lake, and blooming gardens by day and engulfed in an expansive canopy of twinkling stars by night. The experience was a true delight that left us feeling fully restored just when we needed it most. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful stop in the countryside. It’s a very special cottage with so much character. Highly recommend.

Michael and Joan were fabulous hosts. They were very hospitable and friendly. They went above and beyond to welcome us. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Amazing views of neighboring farms and the ocean. The surroundings were so picturesque beautiful. It was an unforgettable stay and we hope to come back and stay longer next time!

Mary Carpenters Cottage was a magical place to stay. Warm, clean, peaceful countryside location, excellent local pubs & groceries. The host met us in person to explain how everything worked in this unique property & even provided plenty of snacks to welcome us. Even though the cottage was 200+ years old it had all the necessities for a homely stay including watching Netflix in the evening. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect weekend getaway we had dreamed of! Brian and Wilma are the kindest, friendliest people and went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. We had a gorgeous spa session, and Brian’s recommendation for dinner in Portstewart was just phenomenal. The accommodation was perfect, quiet, and peaceful. Chilling out in the pergola was so wonderful. All this to say, we’re already planning our return, so book while you can! 😄

Its a lovely small cottage with all it needs like comfy beds, perfectly furnished kitchen and sitting area with a fire place. (it also has netflix but we didnt use- fireplace did a perfect job) - the house was warm - considering the howling wind outside and absolutely cosy. We were warmly welcomed and got a bottle of wine too. We had a wonderful time and would come back anytime again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cosy Cottage. With the wood burner lit for our arrival, the cottage certainly lived up to its name. Cosy and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Beach Bar for drinks, food and the atmosphere. The Aughris coastal walk is worth doing. the views are stunning.

Rita’s thatched cottage is a very special place to stay. The house is spacious, unique, v comfortable house and beds and cosy with underfloor heating, and an open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a bath and shower. The surroundings and its location are in a gorgeous part of Donegal for drives and I imagine the handiness to the beach is great for surfers. I would highly recommend.

Brideen is a wonderful host! The accommodations were just as advertised, clean, cozy and well appointed. Brideen was wonderful to work with very responsive and helpful. She made our stay in Donegal well worth our trip North from Galway!
