Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Donaghadee

This was a great house for me and friends from USA. Great location with lovely restaurants in walking distance. Worked for us superbly well.

We loved our stay at Mast House. It was as atmospheric and quirky as we had hoped - and it was spacious, private, very well equipped, and really convenient for exploring the town. I know Portaferry pretty well, but I hadn't realised that such a large space and relaxing garden area lay behind the front door. We had lovely weather and made great use of the garden for eating and soaking up the sun. We certainly hope to return, and I'd really recommend Mast House to other visitors.

We arrived late after a very long day & Alastair had reassured us all would be sitting waiting with easy key access. Upon opening the front door, The house was lovely and warm with lovely ambient lighting on in the living room to welcome us. Perfect little extra details like the fire set ready to be lit with matches just on the mantle, cheese & crackers & a choice of teas. Such a quaint historic house with all mod cons and my favourite- a gorgeous bath to soak in & look out into the Hillsborough lake. The bedroom had great storage & a lovely comfortable bed. Pulled back the curtains the next morning to the most incredible view of the lake- complete with swans gliding past!! This was literally a picture postcard moment! Right in the centre of the historic village of Royal Hillsborough with walks, historic pubs & fabulous restaurants. A true haven and a lovely warm host. We will be back as soon as we can.🥰

The place was stunning! We can't get enough of the sunroom and the sitting room facing the coastline. We had a very chill stay as the place was very cozy and there were lots of places to see nearby. As an introvert person, I love the idea of self check-in as it was easy and smooth. Place was spotless and everything was working. Even the kids adored the place as they have a playroom with toys too. They have cutleries and cooking tools as well which were very handy. Cheryl was very responsive with our queries. Several friends already asked about our stay as they find our photos beautiful too. Overall delighted to have stayed in their place and would definitely recommend!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this home. Everything was exactly as listed and even better. We have never stayed at a place with more that was available to use. The area was so perfect and easy to get into the city centre by bus. The tourist office is directly opposite the city hall so be sure to visit. We must say the people of Belfast are the friendliest, most helpful people we have ever met. We have a warm feeling in our hearts for this city and country. Our stay was epic! Recommend 110%.

Our 3rd time staying in Michael and Sarah’s home! We always feel instantly at home and with a week of indifferent weather it was a blessing to have plenty of space with multiple living areas and of course the games room! We hope to be back again!

Darin was a great host - very responsive and arranged early check-in and late check-out for us, for a small extra charge. The property is well located for lots of nearby bars and restaurants and was clean, with a nice balcony and view. Would definitely recommend.

Dylan was a lovely host and very friendly. He replied very quickly to any messages. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and beautifully decorated and in a great location. The bed was really comfortable and after a good nights sleep we enjoyed a walk on the nearby beach. We would definitely stay there again… a very pleasant experience!

We stayed in this property for St. Patrick's Day and oh my it is stunning made this trip very comfortable and pleasurable. The decor to the cleanliness of the apartment was immaculate. The way I was communicated with and made to feel so much more comfortable helped the check in and check out. If possible I would have gave 6 stars.

We had a great time staying in Belfast at Mark’s place. Very walkable area, super close to shopping, restaurants and sites. If you want to enjoy the city this is very convenient and comfortable. Great views, too!

We needed a quick booking in Belfast due to an unexpected delay in our flight arrangements. Gary and his team were quick to respond to our request and needs. The apartment is well appointed and location is close to eateries. We were pleased with our two day stay.

such an idyllic location and a fabulous house. we celebrated my sister's 60th birthday here with family. Mariners House was exceptional, so clean spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with with all equipment we required to cook. Great views and so peaceful. I did not want to.leave. Have booked again during summer months. Tracey was easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions I had.

What a fabulous house! The pictures really don't do it justice. We had a fantastic weekend in this grand but comfortable and luxurious house. Cheryl was great, very responsive and was able to provide advice and support when needed. This is a great option for large get togethers and is well catered for dinner parties. The location is situated between The Balloo house for a lovely lunch and the Dufferin Arms for a cosy pint. Highly recommended.
