Monthly Rentals in Dockray

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

We absolutely loved the area (lots of walks from the doorstep) and the cottage was incredibly comfortable and just right for our family group of seven. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. We also enjoyed an Easter special: watching lots of baby rabbits visit the back garden: so cute!! This was our second visit and we hope to return again before too long.

Fabulous hosts, warm welcome with the most thoughtful touches e.g. newspaper for drying boots and everything you could want for breakfast! Excellent value for money and a great location for walking/hiking near Ullswater. Definitely recommend - what a great private space at the foot of Greystone Castle. Stayed for one night this time but will be back for a longer visit.
