Family-friendly vacation rentals in Docking

Wonderful lodge, beautiful surroundings, outdoor space was excellent. Hosts were proactive in providing any information we might need. The lodge was clean and tidy with a very well equipped kitchen with everything you would need to dine either inside the lodge or in the excellent outside space. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. Secure garden for our dogs was great, they were safe and there was no way of them escaping the garden. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

It's not often that a place exceeds your expectations, but this place certainly did, it is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was perfect, there were 8 of us staying here and each and everyone of us loved it. Marcus was lovely to deal with, he recommended a restaurant/pub for a Saturday lunch, "The Red Lion" in Debenham which was about an hours walk away and the food and service were exceptional. We had a fabulous weekend.

We had a lively stay at Helen's, the garden is huge and is fenced (which was handy with a toddler), it has a playground and a small house for kids that our daughter loved. It also has a direct access to a field with two horses that were happy to be pet. The house itself is very large, clean, with a play room and lot of books and boardgames, and a very well equipped kitchen. We felt instantly at home. Helen even gave us spices we had forgotten and needed ro cook a dish. And of course, there was the jaccuzzi! It was the perfect gataway for a long week end. Would 100% recommend!

The Pump House exceeded all of our expectations. The setting was breathtaking—surrounded by peaceful nature, with beautiful views in every direction. It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy some true tranquility. The architecture of the property is remarkable—thoughtfully designed with a stylish blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. It looks amazing in the photos, but in person, it's even more impressive. The accommodation itself was spacious and easily fit all 14 of us, with room to spare. The bedrooms and bathrooms were of exceptional quality, and every one of us slept incredibly well in the comfortable beds. We came prepared for the bugs, so I’d definitely recommend bringing citronella candles and repellent—not one of us got bitten! The remote location was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature—it made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful stay at this air bnb. Great for the dog with the enclosed garden, which was very secure, and plenty of lovely walks on the door stop. The sauna and the hot tub were a great addition too.

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

We always stay here when visiting north Norfolk. Love little cottage with everything you need.

Thanks Debbie :) Pros - peaceful - private - stunning views over fields - comfy beds - loved the sun deck - very dog friendly - easy to find & follow instructions - great recommendations for things to do/ see - milk was left in the fridge for us - cool even on hot day due to shady trees everywhere Cons - curtains in bedrooms aren’t black out so very light in the rooms until late - walls in between the rooms in the cabin are very thin so if anyone’s in the kitchen / living area you can hear everything, not great for sleeping children - birds very loud in ceiling of bedroom very early in the morning, maybe birds nesting in the floorboards above..

Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. A couple of the bedrooms are quite small so not a lot of room for 2 suitcases. Probably suited to 1 person rather than 2! Downstairs was spacious and comfortable. Could do with a couple more larger frying pans. Cooking for 6 with one small pan not ideal! Not really any towel hanging space in the main bathroom. We had 4 sharing this room with one little hanging space which we hung the hand towel on. Meant hanging our towels in the bedrooms over wardrobe doors…common problem in most Airbnb’s to date is the lack of hanging space for towels! But overall we enjoyed our stay and the lemon cake on arrival was delicious and most appreciated. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Beautiful property. Ideal with a bathroom for every bedroom so don’t have to share. Also a ground floor bedroom for those who struggle with stairs. We enjoyed our stay very much, lovely quiet location, walking distance to beach and pubs/ restaurants. As it was sunny weather also made use of outdoor area which has large table, bbq and seating area. Fantastic facilities including lots of crockery and glasses.

A fantastic stay for us with our boys, the grandparents and dogs. The house is gorgeous, characterful, warm, welcoming, cosy, charming, clean - we instantly felt at home. In a great location, across the road from the quay for seal trips, nice walk along the coast path to Blakeney, short drive to Wells & Holkham. Louise is a great host, always responded quickly and gave us plenty of info re dog friendly pubs etc. If you like North Norfolk I would highly recommend staying at Louise's place. What a find - lovely large family home for a week’s holiday in Wells. Travelled with family of 9 including 4 and 3 year olds and 11 weeks baby. Particularly liked that each family unit had a bathroom each. House has everything you could need, very spacious and so much equipment/games and toys for children - a home from home. Nice garden to relax in. It’s in a perfect location with easy 5/10 mins walk into main area and harbour. We had no issues so didn’t need to contact host but booking procedure was very straightforward. Highly recommended - we’ll definitely be returning!

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

Place felt bigger than the photos. Really responsive host. We raised a minor maintenance issue on arrival and it got sorted out really quickly.

Nice place clean and tidy. Great super fast broadband and having Netflix is a great bonus although we were out at the lovely beaches most of the time we were there Will consider booking again as we will definitely be coming back to Norfolk.

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

Our family stayed at one of the beautiful lodges, we were greeted by Steve, what a lovely man, he shew us how to use the amenities, and said if we needed anything , just to ask, he left us to enjoy our 2 night stay, swimming pool amazing, hot tub amazing, our lodge was amazing too, near to the broads where we enjoyed a boat trip, really was the best 2 days, we will be going back sometime in the future Natalie Devereux

A great, homely, caravan with all the facilities we needed. A nice quiet site which is a bit older fashioned and quirky. Beautiful views of the sea and Trimingham beach from the site. Partial sea view from the caravan. Everything was clean and well kept. Nice little pool, clubhouse/bar and cafe on site. Easy access via key safe. Host very communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Rachel accommodated us to stay in her annex less than 24 hours before our booking which was amazing. She was very friendly and the place was lovely. Great access to a private terrace area and we were able to use the shared pool which was nice and warm! Within 20 mins from a lovely beach and lots to explore in the local area

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in the Millers Loft. Everything was as described, and the owners were on hand to answer any questions or queries with a smile. In terms of amenities: - I was able to successfully charge my EV at the property following the provided instructions. - The provided Wi-Fi connection was good (seeming to approach an 80 Mbps connection) and consistent, contrary to other reviews left in the past on Airbnb.
