We had a very nice stay at Annika and Nicolai's apartment. The location is really very good. The S-Bahn is just 5 minutes from the apartment. This allowed us to explore Munich very well with our children. By car, we were very quickly at Lake Starnberg and Lake Chiemsee.

Rainer was extremely helpful with all of my needs and adjustments. He was generous with tips and ideas for experiencing the local environment. He was kind with changes in my schedule, which was not to be automatically to be expected, given the Christmas holiday period when I rented. I would definitely like to return, and I will (reluctantly!) recommend this sacred place to others who might appreciate its many rare qualities. The setting is second-to-none, and Rainer is even moreso. One of the top places I have ever rented on this site.

Top location with access to a public swimming lake (free of charge). You are far enough away from the lake so as not to be harassed by bathers and close enough to walk quickly. The apartment was super clean and newly furnished. Family Paulsteiner is always responsive and very helpful. Bicycles can be easily stored. To shop you need your car or better a bike. The location is predestined for this. From our apartment we had alpine and lake views. It can't get better. We'll be back.

Everything is fine, and according to expectations. We had a nice Easter at Lake Walchen. However, you should be able to 🛵 cope with the noise of passing cars, motorhomes and the like. A cozy "sitting on the balcony" is more reminiscent of the background noise of Mediterranean street cafes :) The path to the bathroom and sauna cabin is a bit spooky and takes time. Nostalgia with pure patina. The kitchen is well equipped, which makes cooking fun. The bathroom is comfortable and leaves nothing to be desired. Wi-Fi is as described very stable, nowadays worth its weight in gold. There are some hiking/walking trails from the house, so the car can stay parked for a few days. Parking was also no problem as described. Antje is a great host.

We were on site as a family for the first time. The surroundings are beautiful, you can experience many things. The yard is nicely secluded from the place, making it a special tranquility. The lake is within walking distance. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The highlight was of course the short ride of our little daughter, which made the holiday perfect. We will definitely be back...

Very warm hosts and an apartment that at least meets the description. We felt right at home and with friends. Cozy furnished apartment with perfectly equipped kitchen and beautiful, new bathroom with shower. It was a little colder, so it was great that there was a fan heater in the bathroom and also the heaters could be turned up if necessary. The bed was a dream. Short walk to the lake and Immenstadt. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thanks!

A well-furnished apartment in a great location! I was traveling for work and had little opportunity for long hikes. The possibilities to enjoy nature here are almost inexhaustible. Positively noteworthy was the enormous cleanliness and the loving furnishing of the apartment as well as the complete basic equipment with kitchen paper, oil, baking paper etc. Even coffee was in stock and not as a hodgepodge of leftovers from the last three years, but just like everything else in the apartment, it was also good, fresh and clean. Even a fresh flower greeting was on the table to welcome us and there was something to snack on. The furniture was also great, a nice mix of traditional regional and new, very tasteful. It was a really pleasant time here, I would choose the place again for a private trip with my wife at any time. Thank you dear Helmut also for the uncomplicated arrangements and the regional tips!

House is exactly as advertised. It’s new, modern and easy to stay in. Katti and Stefan were excellent hosts and responsive and helpful at all times. You will need a car as the location is remote, but easy to find. Would recommend as a base for local ski resorts in the winter.
