Monthly Rentals in Devil's Bridge

The accommodation was superb, which included every item that we needed for our stay. It had the lot, even a cocktail shaker. Outside the back door was a hot tub. It was a brilliant experience sitting in the hot tub watching little birds, on the bird feeder, with two red kites circling above us. The garden and jacuzzi are completely private. It is a five minute walk to the nearest restaurant/bar, which serves tasty food. The place is ideally situated for sightseeing. There are 2 walks around the Devils Bridge Falls. There is a butterfly house a short drive away in Cwm Rheidol. Every afternoon red kites are fed nearby. (All details are in the information folder which is comprehensive. Last but not least we must mention the hosts Teresa and Paul. We received a very warm welcome and a comprehensive induction. They are the most friendly, helpful couple and nothing is too much trouble for them. They had provided a very thoughtful welcome basket. Looking forward to our next stay. Dioch.

We really enjoyed our stay at James’s place. The remote location and brilliant views were exactly what we were after. The cottage was spotless and clearly put together with a lot of care and attention. All the little details had been thought through – we especially liked the heater in the conservatory, the herb garden, feather duvet, nice toiletries and quality crockery. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Even on a rainy day, we were happy staying in with the wood burner going. The garden was lovely and well kept, and even though the owners are next door, if you need them, the place felt really private because of the layout. James was an exceptional host – friendly, easy to talk to and gave us great tips for walks and places to eat. We really enjoyed lunch at Y Ffarmers on his recommendation – definitely book ahead! We normally never return to the same Airbnb, but we’ve already booked another stay in July - it’s that good! Absolutely recommend!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Orchid Meadows Nature Reserve. Although this is a 2 guest property we contacted the hosts to ask if we could bring our baby and they were happy to allow this. This was to be our babies first mini break and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Instantly the property felt like home from home and provided everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The hosts kindly offered us wonderful fresh eggs and produce from their poly tunnel on top of the delightful cakes awaiting us on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed using the map to wander round the nature reserve - so much thought and effort has gone into it. If you are looking for somewhere to switch off, feel refreshed and love nature look no further. Lovely cottage in a quiet location, well equipped and lots of information at the cottage of things to do in the area. Justin was very helpful with upfront information and was quick to respond to messages. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet country stay. Be prepared to do quite a bit of driving if you want to do more than walking and relaxing.
