Here, the whole family can lower their shoulders, unplug, and really get the good cabin feel. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. It's at a great location in the mountains. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, skiing and by bike. Right outside the door there is a well developed network of about 100 km of well-groomed skiing trails. There is a short distance to the ski resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 min) and Sälen (35 min). Here you are close to activities both for big and small and to all seasons.

Cozy guesthouse

Cozy guest house with 2 bedrooms with double beds. One has to go through the first bedroom to get to the second. Therefore, it is best suited for families or good friends, as well as making an extra bed at the "library". There is approx. 10 minutes walking distance down to the city center with railway station and the University College and 3 km up to Birkebeinerstarten, as well as about 3 km to Rena camp. There is also a gazebo/greenhouse on the property that can be used to enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a good book

To Sjusjøen - Norway's best cross country destination, it is a 12 min drive, Hafjell (Alpine Olympic 1994/Hunderfossen Adventure Park) 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine resort for families, 10 min. There is a short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of hiking trails. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great hiking trails and ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only 3 minutes drive from the cabin with great views of the city. 5 minutes by car to the nearest grocery store. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
