I was away alone for the first time and Ingrid & Lous made this short trip very positive for me. I was super kindly welcomed by Ingrid and she told me a little about the area and what you can do. The room was as described and very tidy. The surroundings were nice and good to escape the stress of everyday life. Communication with Ingrid and Lous was very good and I felt very welcome. I highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone 🥰

The place is very stylishly decorated, a very nice little home for our stay. Free parking a few meters from the house as described, we always found a place. The decor didn't miss anything, except maybe the washing machine. However, we found a washing machine nearby (Tinq gas station), so no problem. The hosts were always available and very friendly. The residential area very quiet with beautiful cottages. You can quickly walk to the center of Bergen with shopping and nice restaurants and cafes. The area is incredibly beautiful and offers an incredible number of possibilities.....Bathing on very beautiful sandy beaches, canoeing, cycling, hiking in the dunes, boating etc......and you are also relatively fast in Amsterdam (P&R Noord) and other beautiful places. We had a wonderful 2 weeks!

We liked the accommodation very much, we felt right at home! 😊 It is a quiet area which was very pleasant. Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are within walking distance. The sea is also within walking distance. The extensive beach is ideal for relaxing walks. Thanks a lot for giving us the opportunity to spend a few days at your place 😊

We felt really comfortable! The house is super cozy, very bright and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. Mirjam responded very nicely and quickly to questions on our part and was always willing to help, at the same time she was very considerate and we had our privacy, even when the cottage is behind her house. Within walking distance you are in Bergen city center within a few minutes, which is super convenient.

We felt comfortable with Lida right away. She is a great and lovely hostess. Our son loved the sheep and chickens, Lida also had great tips for the area. The accommodation is also great, we would have liked to have stayed longer. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.

The stay at the kukel was after our wedding and what a wonderful way to enjoy our fantastic day in our bubble. Everything you need to really unwind. Nice in nature and completely private. A fully and attractively furnished B&B. From a nice kitchen with enough materials at your disposal to a sparkling clean bathroom with a wonderful rain shower. The bed was wonderful and the jacuzzi and swimming pond are a cherry on the cake. There are also two bicycles available that you can use for free. In short, a fantastically well-kept B&B. We had a great stay at Yvon's. Breakfast was great and the cats all very sweet and trusting. We are happy to recommend the place!

What a beautiful place this is!!! we spent a long weekend in Debby's beautiful converted farmhouse. Communication was quick and very friendly. It is a bit of a bike ride from the boat, but very easy to find. Inside we found a lovely home, beautifully decorated, soft beds, coffee, tea and a delicious chocolate... pure indulgence. The area is fantastic, you are nicely centrally located on the island. We had fantastic weather, so all the dishes for top weekend were present. Thank you Debby, for another beautiful memory.

Nel is a super friendly host ;) The apartment is very well located, has really good amenities and is very lovingly furnished. The apartment is even more beautiful in reality than it already is in the photos. We felt right at home. Agaath has really created something great and has made it something special with lots of little things and details. She's also a great host. Very sweet and always helpful. She even provided some groceries for the first breakfast. Really a great service. If we could, we'd give even more stars. Clear recommendation for anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay in the region.

An absolute dream stay – it doesn't get any better! We had a wonderful time at Daan's place and can only rave in the highest tones. Daan is an exceptional host – incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. No matter what we needed – whether fresh firewood for the cozy fireplace or something else – Daan was immediately on the spot and supported us with a cordiality that is second to none. The house itself is fantastically beautiful: stylishly furnished, well equipped and provided with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The hot tub was a real highlight, the location wonderfully quiet and relaxing, and the trampolines in the garden were a hit with the children. We felt completely comfortable from the first moment. We were very warmly welcomed . The apartment has a creative atmosphere as the kitchen is a workshop. The bedroom is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The garden offers flower and dyke views.

We were very nicely welcomed by Marieke and Richard. The accommodation was clean, cozy and in very beautiful surroundings with fields of tulips. Marieke also recommended us the tips what and where to visit and how to get there. I can recommend this place for 100%.

Our stay can be described in one word: EXCELLENT!!! Maaike is a great host! She is easily approachable, is incredibly welcoming. Her service is beyond amazing! We know one thing for sure, we'd love to come back here again!

Liane is a wonderful hostess! We had a super nice stay: very nice and spacious B&O, very cozy and well furnished, really everything is present, pleasant and quiet area, easily accessible, ideal with parking in front of the motorbike, bicycles that we were allowed to use to eat in the evening, extensive and well-kept breakfast, lots of good tips for restaurants nearby, very helpful, to every question both in advance and during our stay we received a very quick answer, in short: highly recommended!

Great place, great communication. Alie was courteous and helpful, made our stay really nice. Exceeded our expectations! The accommodation is quietly located, you can reach the beach by bike or car, not necessarily within walking distance. But for our purposes, this was just the right thing.

What a lovely cottage the Silver heron is! It is cozy, neat and clean and the best part is the seat on the meadow side where you sit privately and watch the horses and birds. There is a lot of fun to do nearby, e.g. the polder garden in spring and a day in Texel is easy. The beach of Callantsoog is also very worthwhile. The campsite where the cottage is located is small and basic but that is exactly what we were looking for. There is a trampoline and some other children's toys. We'd love to come back.
