Monthly Rentals in Dayton

Calico’s chicken house is a great place to stay. The stay was so beautiful and much more to offer, you can enjoy small hiking around the place and see beautiful farmland and Cheryl’s vineyard as well. And it is in very quiet and peaceful place, yet, it is within 20mins from Walla Walla downtown. Cheryl is great host and offers great hospitality, taking us around the place and tells us the back story of the place. We enjoyed so much that we are already planning to return in the fall. If you like the star full of sky you will enjoy the place very much!

Great location and extremely clean. It’s just a short walk to downtown Walla Walla. We enjoyed our stay here. Two bedrooms are in the basement so if stairs are an issue this may not be the stay for you. However, the basement felt very light and roomy so it worked well for us.

Great place with a comfortable lived in appeal and everything you could need for your stay. The beds were cozy, the kitchen stocked, and I believe every room has a tv. It’s a very large space, perfect for groups or large families, we didn’t even use the other part of house expect to play hide and seek with kids. We stayed for a week and it was very peaceful and quiet, even had some wild turkeys come through the yard. Big gravel driveway makes it nice for multiple cars and the National Forrest boundary is just back at the main road. It’s an easy drive back into Pomeroy for provisions, and a quick drive to Lewiston or Palouse Falls. My only complaints were the lack of a bathroom door in the King bedroom, and it certainly could have used a fine tune cleaning but nothing to ruin the experience and I would certainly stay again!

Our stay at the Lavender House was so wonderful. We felt right at home and welcome. As soon as we arrived it was apparent that Mike and Tobey had put so much thought and care in the details. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything we could need, very clean and well organized. There was even a fruit basket on the counter with fresh fruit and other treats. The house is very spacious, but also warm and welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with lots of towels, soaps, lotions, shampoo and conditioner. The outside patio looks out at the beautiful hills of Dayton and is so peaceful and quiet. You can hear the creek running behind the house. There is an outside fire pit with comfortable chairs to relax by. There is also a nice outdoor table to sit and eat meals. This is probably the best Air B&B we have had the pleasure of staying in. We will definitely come back. Thank you Michael and Tobey for making us feel so welcome. Looking forward to next time.
