Guesthouse vacation rentals in Daventry District

Accommodation without great pretensions, but I had a pretty clear idea of ​​where I would stay, so no surprises. To improve the cleanliness, dust and cobwebs... it is not a problem for me but it may be for others. Clean and comfortable beds, clean and soft towels with a certain smell of fried food... Fantastic bar and restaurant, good and abundant food. Large terrace and parking, it is in the center of the town, and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. I stayed during Tanks Trucks and Firepower, so I only needed a place to sleep, having that clear I would not mind repeating if necessary.

This was a lovely stay for us. There’s lots to do in the area as the cabin was well stocked with amenities and peaceful.

Unfortunately, my stay was less than 24 hours as I was in the area for a friends event but the accommodation was good and had everything I needed. It was clean and well equipped. Sandra was a friendly and responsive host. The village is very pretty with a very inviting looking pub! I wish I could have stayed longer.

What a lovely stay we had at Shenley Lodge while attending 4 days of the British Grand Prix. I cant say enough about how helpful Katarina was from the moment we - sleepily - stepped out of the taxi after a redeye from Heathrow. We were fortunate to be able to check in early, and we immediately felt right at home. We were so lucky to experience Katarina’s thoughtful kindness - homemade soup, starting us out with bottles of water, and even fitting us in for extra services like a massage right on site. Oh, and i cant forget thr wonderful reataurant suggestions! The surroundings and neighborhood are absolutely gorgeous and quaint. You will want to go for a walk or catch a ride on a Lime scooter to explore - we had SO much fun ‘scooting’ around. We made breakfast each morning in the unit and picked up basics at the Tesco a couple blocks away. Very simple to walk. All in all I would love to stay again! Thank you Katarina for our lovely stay!

This is our fifth stay at the hayloft, so it goes without saying we love our time there. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated and cozy. We feel at peace there and it was a wonderful escape 💜

Ashlee is a good guest house, located conveniently for Banbury. Ayman gave us plenty of recommendations of places to eat. Our room was spacious, the beds large and comfy. I am happy to recommend him and Julie's breakfast.

Stable cottage was lovely, we felt right at home, especially after a lovely welcome by Linda. Cottage was well equiped and very clean. A lovely short stay.

We had a wonderful couple of nights in the Hayloft. It has been tastefully done up with wonderful facilities. It is so peaceful there. Emily was very friendly whilst giving us our privacy. There's plenty to do nearby with a National Trust property, local woods and plenty of country pubs. I would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely airbnb in beautiful location in Flore, amazing garden which we sat and enjoyed the sunshine in for the afternoon. Very comfortable rooms and very light and spacious. Patricia was very friendly and helpful and we loved meeting the two lovely dogs!

We had a lovely stay at Anne and Nick's. The place is great for couples or small families. Thr kitchen is super well equipped- I wish we were staying for longer to make the most of it! we had a lovely welcome message on the wall which made my son's day and the TV has plenty apps which also made his day 😂 The only issue was the foul smell from the bathroom which opens out in to the kitchen. Overall we had a lovely stay ❤️

We had the most wonderful stay this weekend, it was a perfect half way meet for each family. Andreea was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and directions. The guest house was stunning, we had plenty of space for 4 adults. The sun did make a slight appearance and the outside seating was very welcoming! There was everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, the showers were powerful and the lounge area was great for us all being able to sit together. 100% recommend Andreea’s guest house and I’m sure we will be back! Jacqui's place was just what I needed and Jacqui herself was lovely. The house is set in lovely grounds with easy parking and upside down living. Jacqui is friendly and accomodating. The house itself is just ride for one or a couple, being cosy but spacious. Everything was as described, clean and tidy and the washing machine was welcome. There were lovely touches such as tea/coffee box and it was dressed for Christmas, which made it even more welcoming. I would definately go back.

Bex and Kieran were such a lovely couple. Bex was super easy to communicate with and fast to reply with any questions I had which I really appreciated. The space is clean and cosy, perfect for up to two people.. she accommodated myself and my cat. There’s also a family of various pets including the friendliest chickens and sheep I’ve ever met! The location is great if you’re driving.. you’re super close to Bicester and other places. Thank you both

My wife and i had a lovely stay. Incredibly comfortable and ran extremely well by a brilliant host. We would love to return!

Very handy spot if need to go to the University of Warwick for events such as conferences.

Spacious , very well presented accommodation. All amenities as described and great quality. Michelle was extremely attentive even though we were only there for one night. Made to feel welcome from the start. Lovely village. Highly recommend.

Andrew was a fantastic host right from booking. He was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, taking the time to check us in thoroughly and always on hand. The place was pristine and very well kept. Amenities on offer were 5* so with so many thoughtful touches that added to our experience. The house itself was fully equipped, including games and arcade machine which made for lots of fun! The outdoor space was very well maintained and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Perfect hosts and a perfect place to stay. Highly recommend. The welcome pack was the best I've experienced and so thoughtful. The cottage is exquisite and the hosts went out their way to make us feel at home. The garden is a wonderful part of the whole experience. Our kids are nagging us to go back already! Superb. If I could give 6 stars I would.

We had an amazing weekend stay at Isobel's lodge. The lodge was the perfect size for 2 people, with great amenities, including a lovely welcome basket, and everything else we could need. The area was peaceful and beautiful, with shops close by, a great restaurant, and lots of parks and green areas. Isobel is a fantastic host, who always responded quickly and was very helpful. Would definitely stay again, thank you!
