Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Dauphin Island

Upon arrival, we appreciated the secure coded gate. Kathleen and Russell warmly welcomed us at the condo and provided the keys. They live in the area and Kathleen's enthusiasm showed she loves where she lives. The condo was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with snacks, local cupcakes, and beverages. The kitchen had all the necessary cookware, along with both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. My daughter found the sofa bed comfortable, and the Vizio smart TV with streaming apps and reliable Wi-Fi was a bonus. The bedroom featured a cozy bed with extra pillows and blankets, while the spotless bathroom had everything we might need. There was also a washer and dryer. This is definitely our new spot!

One of the best condos we have stayed in at gulf shores! Right next to everything. Will definitely be coming back!

I wanted to find a cute spot for my family to stay while we enjoyed our vacation & this was just it! It was beautiful & peaceful. It looked exactly how the pictures and description said it would. Anytime I had a question or reached out they were responsive. I couldn’t have been more pleased.

Was a little leery of staying on the 19th floor, but the elevators are extremely fast. Never had to wait too long for a ride. Jay’s place is clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is about parking- which isn’t any fault of Jay. Our stay was less than 24 hours and still had to pay the same fee we would if our stay lasted a week. Prorating for parking would be more favorable.

We absolutely loved staying at Nicole’s place! As soon as you open the door the view of the beach across the condo caught our eyes. It was easy to get inside the condo and the condo was clean. Nicole was very responsive and helpful with all my questions. The kiddy pool, regular pool and hot tub were so nice to have access to when the kiddos got tired of the beach. We were a party of 9 and were comfortable in Nicole’s condo. We’d definitely come back and recommend booking her condo.

Lovely 9th floor balcony and view of the beach. Living area and kitchen like new and well furnished. Comfy bed. Easy elevator ride and walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay!

This was a wonderful place to spend our spring break! Everything was clean, the decor beautiful, and the beds so comfy. I loved how quiet the neighbors were, and the location was perfect for heading to the beach or into Pensacola to visit colleges with our teen. No problems, great communication. Would 100% stay here again!

No complaints! Perfect location especially for Mardi Gras! Walkable to downtown area and convention center. Especially loved having gated parking in the back. Clint was very responsive and awesome. Just had an awesome experience overall. Looking forward to coming back to stay again next time. Also the upstairs patio has great view of city! Thanks for everything Clint!

Nice condo in a good area. All the kitchen items you would need for a multi day stay. There was a coffee machine and Keurig! Be aware that there were no K-cups provided so be sure to bring your own. Quick 2 minute walk to the nearby beach or an easy 25 minute drive to Gulf Shores. Not many food options, but definitely seems to be an up and coming area. There were a few cosmetic issues like the master bathroom door does not shut and front door doesn't latch unless dead bolt is engaged. Overall pleased with the condo for the price!

Spacious and quiet nestled in the heart of Midtown. Hosts were incredibly responsive and hospitable. Great for 2-3 if you’re looking for a combination of historic, local feeling but want the coziness of something updated.

This place is amazing! It is located close to everything! The beach, shopping, Lambert’s, other restaurants, grocery stores, outlet shopping…it wasn’t far at all. It was nice and clean. Mark made my family feel so welcome and kept in contact to make sure everything went smoothly. He offered great recommendations for the kiddo and eating out. His place has all the amenities one would need when on vacation and more. He has games, television channels, cleaning supplies, and more. I would love to come back to this place-it made the stay even more pleasant than expected. Mark is a gem of a host!

This always a fantastic stay. My family always makes a trip for a cheer competition. This is our second time staying at Escapes, and we love it. It will be our go to. Very spacious. Beautiful balcony and master bedroom window facing the ocean. My kids particularly enjoyed the board games that were there. That was a happy surprise. We had brought our own, but didn't need to. Jamie is a great host. Responded quickly and offered to be contacted if any questions arose. We will look to be staying here next year as well if possible.

The condo was very clean, well stocked and looked just as it did in the pictures. The property was well maintained & offers a lot of amenities which was nice. We had a great view of the beach although it was across the street. Kevin gave us excellent directions as well as many recommendations for restaurants and things to do near by. Parking was expensive but our overall stay was good!

Wima's place was perfect for our getaway trip. Not only did she make sure that her instructions were clear and concise but the condo was spacious and comfy. The beds were extremely comfortable. I look forward to the next time were able to utilize this place.

The rental was perfectly located downtown and very clean. The host was excellent with communication and quick to offer additional conveniences, such as discounted parking. I would highly recommend this location.

We chose this house for our family vacation , with our new grandbaby!! It was perfect and comfortable for 7 plus baby! The shuttle was perfect for hauling the beach stuff! The beach club was convenient and had good food ! Enjoyed the whole experience!

Shanna’s house is simply beautiful! We enjoyed the lovely, spacious rooms, relaxing deck and balconies, views of the bay from the swing, and well-equipped and thoughtful amenities. The house was in a perfect location and was just right for us to celebrate a daughter’s graduation, a perfect day at the beach, and Easter brunch followed by family worship. We highly recommend a stay in this terrific home.

A great stay at Azeb’s place. We were a golf foursome and we each had our own bedroom. The kitchen/family room was spacious and the perfect center of the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Pamela’s house and she was very kind and helpful during our time there. I would stay here again!

Great place to stay at especially if you have kids! Family friendly, private home in a secluded neighborhood. Tiki bar by the pool hosted live music every night which was really nice and on our last night they were having a neighborhood cookout with live music as well. Indoor pool was my personal favorite, clean and warm. Beach was only 6 minutes away which was not bad at all, waves were a little strong that day so wished we could have stayed longer with more time but will be back! Marisa is an awesome host, answered all my questions very quickly.

This place is absolutely beautiful! From the environment down to the atmosphere inside the home. Nick was very responsive and always messaged back when we needed something! Very clean and neat inside, plenty of room. Balcony views are amazing. We will definitely be booking again in the future.
