Cottage vacation rentals in Dauphin Island

This was our second stay with David and just like the first, it was impeccable! We made a last minute trip and David afforded us a beautiful home with full amenities and not one thing was out of place. David is kind and always willing to help with anything! This is a permanent spot for us and we hope to be back over and over again.

Absolutely loved staying here. Host was extremely responsive. We had a tiny little hiccup with a small cleaning issue but was quickly resolved.

The home was very clean and tidy. The area was quiet and very family friendly. It was far enough away from the hustle & bustle that it made for a great vacation. I highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a low key get away!

Tortunga Sunrise was a wonderful place to stay in the Gulf Shores. Loved the beautiful lagoon view and short walk to the beach. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Kim was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again and bring the family.

Teresa was so sweet and a great host. The Airbnb was very clean and nice. Beds all very comfortable! Would highly recommend to everyone.

Wonderful place & great host!

This place is in a cute neighborhood, and close to downtown Fairhope. Very walkable. When we entered into our unit I felt like we were the first people to ever stay there. That may be true as they've only been open a short time. The architecture and decor were beautiful and made the small space feel bigger than it is. At the end of our stay we ran into a man named Gardner. He is the builder of these eight units. He was very friendly and received my tiny suggestions for improvements with genuine curiosity. He also showed us a larger unit that I didn't know about. I'd stay in one of those if we ever return to Fairhope. I really appreciate the effort they made to keep the three huge live oaks in the front. The only down side was that it was more expensive than I had hoped. But the location, beauty and off street parking helped with that. As for Fairhope, I don't think I've ever met so many kind people in one place. Such a friendly town.

We had a great weekend in her home. The place looks exactly as pictured. The pool was everything we expected..The location was great, close to the beach. We liked it very much and we will come back.

The condo is absolutely beautiful and the resort amenities are fabulous! Lisa is a very communicative host who provided great instructions for checking in and getting the most out of the stay. I would absolutely rent with her again!

An absolutely outstanding location! The cottage is wonderfully secluded, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Inside, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. I must note, the king-size bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable and you need to experience the master bathroom shower! The hot tub was perfect! Spotless and well taken care of. You can unwind in the hot tub while enjoying the sounds birds and nature. Amber exemplifies the perfect host! She was very responsive and courteous, checking in via the AirBNB chat to make sure we had everything we needed. Our entire stay was flawless! We were sad to leave and return home, but we can't wait to book again! Thanks for having us!

Great house ! My family and I felt right at home. Kids loved the pool and close walk to beach and stores . Great location!

Located by the magnolia River in the headwaters. We stayed in late March, which is peak azalea season. The neighborhood in bloom may be the most beautiful location I have ever stayed in. The house is great. It feels comfortable. It is private.

Everything was great ! Maureen was super friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. It was spotless and very nice ! I definitely recommend staying here !

Extremely nice stay. Worth every penny! Family very much enjoyed this setting. Had everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Quiet, clean, comfortable. We will be back! Thank you!!! BTW- distance to beach was absolutely acceptable and easy to walk.

Loved our stay! It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Beautiful, clean and much larger than we thought it would be. The beach was a quick 3 minute drive with lots of free parking. We loved having beach towels, chairs and sand toys available for us to use. Highly recommend!

Loved the location. We were right in front of the pool, which made that extremely easy for my kids. The entry way to the beach is right across the street. All in all, it was a very relaxing and gorgeous place.

Love staying here! Close to beach and easy walk to restaurants. House is always clean and A/C works well so never hot! Small house but functional and second bedroom is large with 2 full or queen beds. 1 story so no stairs with dogs or kids. Ms. Ella always nice and easily reached.

The cottage was everything Foxy Vacations hosts said it would be. Very cute, clean and well supplied with kitchen and bed/bath supplies. Could have used written instructions on how to use the smart thermostat.

1st time View- It has a magical view of the Bay. You can enjoy it from the living room, kitchen and the back deck. House- Kitchen is stunning and I just wanted to wrap it up and bring it home with me 😂. Of course that is impossible. Kitchen was full of all that you need for a perfect trip. There is a full size frig which we ate at "home" 90% of the time. Both of the beds were comfortable and our 26 year old son said he needed to buy a new mattress when we gets home because of how he slept. Showers - our shower had 2 amazing shower heads with different knobs so if you wanted to share which is big enough you can have your own temperatures. Other shower our son said it was great. House has plenty of room. 3 tvs in the house. Fire pit and the grill we used and was happy we had it. Perfect to sit there drinking some wine watching Hubby work. 😂 Full size washer and dryer with a sink inside. Cindy was amazing and easy to talk to and very helpful

We had a great stay in Dauphin Island! Loved how centrally located Karin's place was to everything on the island. We brought our bikes and had easy access to both east and west ends of the island and were able to walk to several restaurants right from the house as well as the beach! The house is located on a very quiet street, was clean and spacious and provided everything we needed to work (great internet) and cook/enjoy the island for the week!

I absolutely adore Homer’s place. This is our second time staying and it was lovely. We have already booked our stay for the fall. The bed in the master is so comfy, the kitchen is super stocked and we were so grateful for that. The fenced in yard is amazing for fur babies and the dock is to die for. Homer is what every Airbnb host should aspire to be. Sweet neighbors, quiet safe neighborhood. Absolute perfection at an affordable price. Until next time! 💛

Todd's place was great for a weekend getaway. He was very responsive to messages. He was kind enough to let us check in a little early. We were very close to downtown restaurants and activities.

We ended up in a situation with our dogs and the condo we were in. Wendy’s AIRbnb was located less than a mile away and they had a fenced in back yard! Our dogs loved their stay and the backyard and we enjoyed the quietness and privacy of the location. The house was very clean and everything we needed

This airbnb was beautiful, extremely clean, had everything you would need to cook and shower comfortably. We even used the electric grill and it was wonderful. It was easy to get to the beach and the bed was extremely comfortable.
