Cottage vacation rentals in Mobile County

We absolutely loved it! It was a 2-minute drive to the beach and close enough that our teens walked back to the house when they were done. The beach was not close to where the hotels and high-rise condos were, so we always found a spot right by the water. The community's pool was right across the street. The area is quiet and the house was perfect for our family of 6. Holli was incredibly helpful, and I appreciated her quick response time. We will definitely come back!

Cute cottage. We felt right at home. My kiddos loved the pool and meeting other teens in the area.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the New Year in a beautiful place! Everything was as described, plenty of space to spread out but still be close to family. The hot tub was hot and perfect for the overcast days and for relaxing after a long day of playing.

This was a quiet, peaceful stay super close to the beach! Accommodated a family of 5 easily. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Our stay was wonderful!!! We loved everything about the house. Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, great for our large family with kids. The house had everything we needed! Very clean and comfortable. The host was great!!! Will definitely be staying there again!!!

We had seven adults in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Amenities were great! Enjoyed the pickleball court being within walking distance. Lisa was always immediately responsive to any questions we had. We will be back again! Thank you!

Everything was as advertised. Easy check-in. Very short drive to beach parking lot. I wouldn't consider it very walkable due to route, heat/humidity, & bugs (which host did advise to bring bug repellent & it was definitely needed). Pool is a walk across the parking area.

We enjoyed the efficiency of the apartment, even if we located the induction burner too late in our stay to use it (we highly recommend the Isle Dauphine club--which hosts Pirate's Bar and Grill--for excellent dinners in a funky building that happens to be on the National Register of Historic Places). The powered recliners were a great touch, too.

Dolphins literally right outside the window! Being right on the bay was so beautiful - surrounded on 2 sides by water and sky. The bird watching was fun and you literally could fish from the porch. The cottage is clean, comfy, private and secure. It’s unpretentious, attractive, and has what you need. It’s an older building with some imperfections, but not flaws. The kitchen has all the basics, cozy blankets are close at hand, and bath towels are plentiful. The Sassy Bass market and restaurant are right down the road for groceries or dinner. This would make a great home base for gulf coast adventures or you could stay right on the bay the whole time. There are several public beach access points nearby and it’s an easy drive to attractions in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. When the construction on the boardwalk around the property is done, that will be fun, too. Until then, it’s definitely an “under construction” site, so keep an eye on dogs and small kids.

Beautiful historic neighborhood, within 10 min of downtown attractions. Only a block from the interstate, but abnormally quiet inside.

Wonderful place for our family vacation!

Our stay at Martha’s place was beyond expectations! The house was just as described with all the amenities. We felt at home and enjoyed our time there immensely. Martha was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We definitely recommend and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay! We were a family of 5 and had space to spread out, between the futon in the loft, the pull out sofa bed in the living room and the two bedrooms. Alan seemed friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the home! We liked that the mini splits let us adjust temps differently in different rooms, and we slept well while there. The loft stairs are a bit intense, but I think it actually helped my kids be more careful going up and down the stairs in that you had to play close attention when going up and down on them. We had a great time in Dauphin Island and the home was located in a convenient area.

Dena was a wonderful host. She was always responsive. the place was wonderful. Loved the front porch, took wonderful pictures of the sunrise and of the bay. Beds were comfortable. The area was peaceful.

Lisa was and prompt and friendly responsive host. Her home was warm and welcoming with clear instructions and the accommodations made out feel like home. There were even snacks... including popsicles and popcorn; as well trinkets from Mardi Gras AND although I didn't have a pet, there were even treats if I had. Check in/ instructions were easy and clear. Lisa was a great host!

The host was extremely accommodating to my needs. They were very kind and responsive. I enjoyed the space and the host. I had no issues with the stay or the host but will not that their is a particular neighbor that was very overbearing and came to our place to complain twice during a one night stay. That is no fault of the hosts but just a warning that it could happen to you. I still would recommend this host and their properties.

Great Location/ Host

This house is super cute, with nice furnishings and a refined coastal vibe! The host left a key lime pie for us to enjoy which was a nice touch for a house on the coast! The house is easily situated in the middle of the island so you can get to the aquarium, fort, and beaches quickly. It is also close to all the restaurants. We would highly recommend staying in this particular cottage on Dauphin Island!

Great place to stay. Only thing I didn’t realize is all of the rooms were right next to each other. I imagined more space within the home. The bathroom situation was also not ideal especially with kids. One of the restrooms was inside the master and the other was connected to the room with the bunks so it always seemed to me an argument between them. Other than that great home great location the pool was a huge win! Just make sure you grab snacks or food before heading home for the day! I’d stay here again!!

We stayed here 2 months and loved it. It was winter so great rate. It was very private and close to the beach. Home had everything you would need, big kitchen very clean and PET FRIENDLY . If we needed to stay again we will book it. Thanks
