Live the “simple” life on the Baltic: in a solar-powered workman’s hut. The idyllic hamlet of Klützer Winkel is 20 km east of Lübeck, Germany, 6 km west of Boltenhagen, and only ten minutes’ walk from the unspoiled Baltic coastline. Our natural refuge (3500 sq.m./over 37,000 sq.ft.) is nestled among hilly meadows, woodlands, beaches, and some nearby seaside cliffs. Our owner-run plot of land has many fruit trees and other trees, blackberry bushes and shrubs. Pristine meadows directly around the property are crisscrossed by narrow pathways. You can set up your own place to sit, and there is a central terrace with barbecue. Facing the south, the vintage workman’s hut (20 square meter/215 square feet) was converted into a cocoon of living space with virtually no environmental footprint. Its separate bedroom, kitchen and roomy living area are supplemented by a 14 square meter (150 square foot) veranda facing west. All the flooring is larch. All electricity is solar generated with water supply from on board tanks or at the nearby “bathhouse” on the same plot with its solar-powered shower. A wood-burning stove can be used in colder weather. Details: 12VDC power supply, intermittent 220V/80W power with converter, DVB-T TV, radio and DVD player, refrigerator, two-plate gas cooker, and sink. Since 2016 we got a supplementary nonsolar power supply i.e. to have a shower without sun. Plus we offer: Bicycle and bed linen rental (please confirm in advance), drawing and painting kits, arts and crafts equipment, beach utensils. Plus the chance to pick and process cherries, blackberries, pears, and apples (all according to the season and availability, for a small fee) Klützer Winkel also offers many leisure, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

Natural idyll near the Baltic Sea: Apartment "Alcove"

The "Alkoven" is a small, cozy one-room apartment with visible timber framing and a view of the beautifully grown garden. It is suitable for 2 people. The bright living space features a double bed (1.60 m wide), a small dining table with two chairs, a wardrobe, and a modern kitchenette. It also includes satellite TV (flat screen) and free Wi-Fi. The adjoining bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Families: Due to its size (23 sqm including the bathroom), the apartment is suitable only for families with a baby. For families with an older (even small) child, we recommend the Laube apartment. Our other apartments: "Laube" (approx. 36 sqm) for up to 3 people, with a separate garden access and private seating area "Mansarde" (approx. 54 sqm) for up to 4 people, particularly charming under the roof Or the "Refugium", for up to 4 people — beautifully designed, with its own east-facing terrace (morning sun!). In the middle of nature lies the small holiday village Barendorf. Here everyone is in good hands, who is looking for his peace in a nicely furnished two-room apartment between Lübeck-Travemünde and Boltenhagen. The 9x 5 m indoor pool invites with 26 degrees water temperature in winter , as in summer. The apartment is very well equipped and has a balcony with south-east orientation. The not overflowing beach can be reached on foot via a hiking trail through the beautiful nature ( about 800m).

In the middle of fields and Knicks, you will find a quiet spot on the edge of the field with panoramic views over the Baltic Sea, the Baltic Sea beach can be reached in 20 minutes by bike. A newly developed 14 m" large construction trailer with a bed (160), a small kitchenette and one seating inside/outside awaits you. The toilet and shower are located in another construction trailer next door. Fresh vegetables and eggs from our garden are available seasonally, as well as a folding bike :)

With 80 square meters of living space, you have plenty of space for up to 4 people. The apartment is equipped with everything your heart desires. Another highlight is the large, sunny balcony.

Welcome to Feldhusen, an idyllic and very quiet village, 2 km away from the Baltic Sea coast. The newly renovated apartment on the 1st floor consists of a living-dining area with kitchenette (incl. dishwasher and washing machine), a bathroom with shower and bathtub and a bedroom in the attic with a large double bed (1.8 m). The apartment has a large private roof terrace. The living-dining area offers an additional sofa bed as well as a workplace.

Our lovingly and modernly furnished vacation home is located in the small village of Barendorf (near Priwall/Travemünde) and only about 950 m from the fine sandy beach, near the nature reserve. The adjoining meadow invites you to linger, play and sunbathe.

In the lovingly developed adjoining house there is a sauna with bath and shower and an idyllic relaxation area with outdoor shower.
