Monthly Rentals in Darmsden

Having a very busy music course to attend in Ipswich this was a perfect place to retreat to at the end of a busy and late evening. So lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and glorious views across the fields before an easy drive into Ipswich. Loved having my own private space. Especially liked the wet room bathroom!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Milking Parlour ❤️ The place was gorgeous, perfect for a couples getaway. We were blessed with brilliant weather, and the positioning of the garden meant we got the best of the sun. Sitting outside with breakfast in the mornings was a proper treat. The hot tub was also a super nice addition; once we got it properly going, we stayed in it from sunset until the night, and were able to spot some constellations as we were far enough away from the light pollution of central Ipswich :) The Milking Parlour itself is super lovely, very airy and fresh design, bright throughout the day, helpful little gadgets around, always a good temp due to underfloor heating. The hosts Marion and Kevin were really friendly, and Charlie was very helpful. We would’ve never left, had we been given the choice, so we will hopefully be back soon instead 🙏

The property was stunning. All the fixtures and fittings are top quality. It was spotlessly clean and i’d definitely recommend it.

We loved visiting Harriet’s adorable cottage. It was even more lovely than the pictures and was so cosy and we felt at home immediately. She also provided us with a cake and juices/teas/coffee on arrival which was incredibly kind. Would absolutely stay again if we come back to the area!
