We stayed at U Matesa for a week, enjoyed the peaceful location at the edge of Dobre Pole village, and had a great time making day trips from there. It's a great location for exploring the region. The living space above the vine cellar is small but thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare simple meals. Our kids have dust allergies but they had no problems during our stay. We made a good use of the portable fan provided, as the weather was hot during our stay. Be ready for a mosquito (or two) if you keep the windows/doors open. We needed to bring our own bathroom essentials including towels. Iveta was a great host, very cordial, and always responded quickly. Haven't opened the bottles from their wine cellar yet, but looking forward to it!

Comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Giant Mountains

The shelter is in the mountains, when there is snow you have to walk -15 min walk, there is no access to the shelter, an icy road. Beautifully located, the last on the mountain road, so it only gives you trails, forest, and mountains. Remodeled bathrooms, old-style rooms, but all comfortable and with a vibe. Very good food, breakfast Swedish table also a very large selection and good. Very helpful lady at the front desk. Nice place for a getaway, even a large group of people. Neighborhood and shelter with no crowds of tourists.

My stay at this brand-new chalet was nothing short of remarkable. The lodging perfectly met the criteria of a separate apartment, terrace, and mini-kitchen were well-appointed and facilitated a cozy and communal atmosphere. What truly made our stay delightful was the surrounding area and the special occasion we celebrated. We rang in the New Year with three families, creating an incredibly warm and familial holiday. The excellent house provided a comfortable and convenient base for all our adventures. Any issues or needs, like finding wood for the grill, were promptly addressed. The nearby hiking routes were fantastic, offering beautiful scenery and well-marked trails. In conclusion, I highly recommend this chalet for anyone looking for a serene getaway with the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and natural beauty, especially if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones.A big thank you to the hosts for ensuring our stay was enjoyable and hassle-free!

amazing place with atmosphere and mountain views. i highly recommend, new rooms, refreshed and very clean. possibility to use the sauna and coffee maker. however, in our room there were no sets of linens, we tried to call, after an hour she brought you without any problems despite the rather late accommodation. i recommend anyone who wants to feel the real atmosphere of the Czech mountains!!

The environment was beautiful, quiet, and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. Even though we knew what to expect from the photos, the reality was even better. Really spacious cabin. 3 bathrooms surprised us a lot. I own a large dog, which is why I chose the cabin because dogs are really welcome here. Mr. and Mrs. the caretaker were not afraid of him at all and welcomed us all warmly.

A very nice place to stay, which offers all:-) from taking the keys (in the form of a code sent in the box), to a friendly "cafe", in which there were also goodies in the fridge to the sauna (but we didn't use it). The principle of trust between a host and a guest is very fond of me and makes me feel friendly. We have nothing to complain about :-)

The bedroom features a spacious bed with a light-colored duvet, accompanied by bedside tables and reading lamps. Natural light filters through large windows covered by sheer curtains, and a stylish lamp sits on a nearby surface, enhancing the room's modern decor.

Thank you so much for a great weekend. A pleasant surprise was the sauna, after which to cool off in the snow was perfect. The price for everything was great! Karolina was kind, responsive, advised us about the store. Great location, privacy, beautiful landscapes, and stunning views. The place was clean and cozy. We'll be back someday! ❤️

We, a group of 10 people, stayed in this amazing cozy cottage with a magnificent view, everyone had an amazing time, no issues whatsoever. Dom was absolutely amazing in hosting us, very accommodating. We also thank him for the amazing pancakes he prepared for us on Sunday morning. I would recommend it.
