Monthly Rentals in Cumberland

Rachel’s place was extremely clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to spend a snowy and stormy day with our pup. Very convenient to get to Portland. Close to grocery store and anything you might need. Rachel was very quick to respond when we had questions and had ice melt delivered for us same day which was a huge help in the storm.

Marlene's accommodations for us (a couple)were located above the garage and were lovely, private, lovely open lawn and grounds with outdoor seating, very easy parking, outfitted kitchen for basic food prep, comfortable sleeping and lounging for two, walking path/and off main road access, all that one would expect and need for a get-away. The one room apartment is upstairs in the garage with a separate/private entrance. Marlene is accessible, helpful, accommodating and kind.

GREAT FIND!! Don & Nina were fantastic hosts! We LOVED the location. We were welcomed with fresh flowers in a vase on the dining table, and we enjoyed our meals together there as well. We greatly appreciate how CLEAN the entire place was. The setup of their place was just perfect for us and our parents! We love to coo k, and the kitchen is well-appointed! The beds and pillows were very comfortable giving us a good night's sleep each night. The full-sized bedroom has a mini split which adds to the warmth or cool (whichever is needed). The master bedroom with a queen bed is large and comfortable. Our parents loved the two rocking chairs, and we enjoyed the comfy couch and chair. Even though we didn't have the greatest weather during our stay, we were able to get out on a kayak and enjoy the lake. The house is nestled in a very quiet cove on the lake and, because there is no public access to the lake, the entire lake is a fantastic find! This will be an annual stay for us now!

My partner and I stayed here while visiting some friends in Portland and had a lovely time. After staying at Dan’s place I have higher expectations for future Airbnb stays! Besides the house’s charm, it was sooooo clean and comfortable. Though the weather was chilly and rainy during our visit, the house was cozy and we made great use of the wood stove. We did minimal cooking, but the kitchen seemed sufficient for your average meal. And honestly, the best part was not having a list of chores to complete at check-out. We would definitely stay here again!
