Our location is fantastic! From here, walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, everything! We have ample parking, too. We ask guests to keep in mind that this is an older home, last remodeled in 1969! Please consider this when booking, while staying, & when reviewing. While the location can't be beat, expect to be staying in an older home if you choose our place. Due to COVID-19, please bring your own towels, sheets & pillows. We provide bedspreads. ALLERGIES: A dog & cat lived here recently.

It’s the most wonderful type of the year in Maine. The leaves are red, the crowds are gone, the lobsters are still fresh. The suite is newly renovated with off street parking and a private entrance - Pet friendly! We have all the amenities you’ll need for your vacation including heatpumps in each room as the nights get colder. Set in a peaceful neighborhood, 10 mins to beach, 15 to pier and Old Orchard street. Off leash allowed at all times on the beach!

I can't say enough great things about my stay. very spacious and accommodating. It felt like my home away from home. I will definitely be staying here for any future visit. It's far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful and serene yet close enough to the city that you won't have to travel too far. The host made me feel very welcome in her home, and was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Lovely Beach home! The place was not only comfortable, but also beautiful appointed, making our stay really enjoyable! Clean, lots of amenities, hosts easy to communicate and available! We loved staying at Scott’s place as it was walkable to so many great spots Portland has to offer. The neighborhood was beautiful with a lot of people out walking their dogs and enjoying the fall weather. We felt very at home and the space was perfect for the 4 of us and our two Frenchies. The beds and bedding were very comfy and the lighten had everything we needed! The only things that we think others would want you to know is the entry is on the side of the house, not the front. The listing mentioned flags neat entry but there were no flags which made it a little confusing. Also, the bathroom door doesn’t latch all the way so there is a bit of space where you can see in. We used a the toilet paper holder to keep the door fully closed while in use. A simple door stop to use from the inside would be a simple fix. Again, we loved the space and would recommend to anyone wanting the perfect stay in Portland.

Loved Nancy's cabin! Stayed for a cold weekend in snowy February '25. Family of six with adult children, significant other, 8month old baby, and pups. Circle dirt driveway fit our three suvs with room for more (beginning of driveway is shared with house next door). Right off route 113, but hardly noticed the traffic noise, the river scenery was gorgeous and peaceful. River was frozen and there is a walking trail across the way, so we saw a few snowshoers and their pups, otherwise a secluded stay. Three bedrooms upstairs with a full bath, living room, kitchen, and one bunk room in the basement with a second living area and half bath with laundry. Kitchen was fully stocked. Cozy but enough room for us to spread out. Wifi worked well. The ramp up to the house from the driveway wasn't shoveled, nor was the deck, but one shovel was provided and we brought our own shovels to clear it for use. Also nice covered area under the deck out the basement door. Comfy beds! Cards and board games too.

Our stay at Laurel Shore Cottage was just what we needed. The location was serene - and we spent most afternoons and evenings sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful landscape and scenery. The cottage itself was uncluttered and comfortable and the host was very responsive.
