Beachfront vacation rentals in Cumberland

We got exactly what we paid for. The apartment was spacious for our group of 2 and our dog. We enjoyed morning walks down by the water and coffee from the local coffee shops. This place was close to so many great parts of Portland - exactly what we needed for a long weekend away!

Peaceful stay at a beautiful and serene location. Michelle was a wonderful host! The Airbnb was filled with treasures that made our stay charming, peaceful and restful. Highly recommend!!!

it's a magical location and such a well appointed apartment. as someone who has hosted on airbnb, I really appreciated all the amenities they had. the hosts are so dope as well. you cannot go wrong with the place, the location, or the vibe.

We had such a nice stay at this lovely house. The house had everything we needed with a fantastic view. Plenty of things to see and do nearby.

Carl and his cohosts were wonderful to work with, quick to respond with any needs. We had a great time this weekend, enjoyed the house and beautiful lake. Hope to return someday and look forward to working with them in the future!

Tammy describes her sweet cottage perfectly. Water views are spectacular with options to fish off the dock, sit in the backyard to warm up or sit on the bluff to cool off. It was perfect for this girl and her dog to re-set in solitude. Most places on the water have sensitive septic as described so you want to consider that if there are more than two guests. I enjoyed my endless walks on Popham beach (no dogs 4/1-10/1)) and was thrilled to be there in the off season. I barely saw anyone! Reid State Park was also spectacular and more opportunity to walk my dog on the trails. Tick season is a bit of an adjustment every year but not a problem if you prepare yourself and your furry friends. A perfect place for a great book, wandering around historic Bath, and easy meal prep. I stayed 2 weeks and appreciated all the thought Tammy put into anticipating what a traveler might need.

The house was clean and well maintained. The view was gorgeous, too bad Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. It was cold and rainy. Used the fire pit nightly and it was nice. Linens were clean, towels were soft and fluffy and smelled freshly laundered. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked with pot/pans and dishes. Having a dishwasher was nice too. Two grocery stores (Hannaford and Market Basket) were close by and plenty of restaurants too. We came with the intention of doing nothing and just changing scenery for the weekend. This place was perfect.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and set in a beautiful location. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was friendly and easy throughout our trip. The nearby outlets were just a short drive away, and the river view was both stunning and incredibly peaceful. The landscaping was beautifully maintained, and the outdoor amenities really made the space feel special. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

A great spot tucked away!! House was cute and as shown in the pictures, is right on the water and has some great views! It rained the majority of the time we were there so didn’t get to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but would have if better weather! Host was very friendly, communicative and responsive!

We had a wonderful time! Going during off season was very peaceful and quiet will definitely book again in the future!

Nice place to stay for the winter and summer

Great little spot right between short and long sands! Clean, well equipped (sand toys and boogie boards and chairs!), and Tara was very helpful when we couldn’t find the location driving in at night. Would definitely rent again!

A really tidy and comfortable apartment. Felt right at home, would have been a tight fit for a group of 3+. I liked the location away from any busy roads. I visited in the winter and luckily have a 4-wheel drive truck, otherwise getting into the parking lot would have been impossible most days because of snow and the steep slope. Also be mindful of narrow staircase to get to apartment. Overall really enjoyed my stay, but some people could some accessibility issues.

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

This 1 BR stay was perfect from start to finish! Once we realized that we had to pick up keys and parking pass just up the street (no real biggie and quite close), we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, inviting, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable as well. We felt right at home in the apartment, and a walk to town took only a few minutes. I highly recommend not having a vehicle in Ogunquit for downtown dining and entertainment, as there really is no parking, so with this rental’s proximity to everything, you just can’t pass it up! Walk to beach too. When we next visit Ogunquit, we will definitely look to stay again!

We had a great stay! Everything was exactly as described and Ian was very responsive.

Our stay at Laurel Shore Cottage was just what we needed. The location was serene - and we spent most afternoons and evenings sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful landscape and scenery. The cottage itself was uncluttered and comfortable and the host was very responsive.

First time renting on Airbnb, it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience. The cozy cabin on the cliffs of Maine was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Stephanie & Heather thought of everything; welcome snacks, dog treats, water, things to do,etc. They even had binoculars, we used on a bald eagle diving into water. Being able to use their kayaks (no charge), made packing & planning much easier. The peaceful surroundings & natural beauty made it easy to disconnect & relax. We saw so many jellyfish in the ocean and they were beautiful! On check-out morn, Stephanie messaged us to say we stay later in day because no one was checking in today, it was the nicest day. That extra time meant everything, we ended up leaving around 4pm with no extra charge. The level of kindness & hospitality is rare & so appreciated. This stay was absolutely unforgettable, we will 100% be coming back. Thank you, Stephanie & Heather, for creating such a peaceful, thoughtful, & welcoming escape.

Cape Elizebeth is very beautiful even in the early winter! I got to see the sunshine, snow and rain all in a cozy home! I highly recommend This home! It is stocked with everything you would need, even puzzles, of which I am a fan!

fantastic stay. clean and well equipped. the lake is even more beautiful than the pictures! Roman was very responsive and went above and beyond in providing helpful information about the area and place.

Dan was a very good host, even finding a large pan for our big eaters to use in addition to what he normally has in the kitchen. It's a fun place to stay, with the fire ring, plenty of outdoor chairs, and a corn hole game outside. The tall trees around the back yard are lovely. Our 3-year-old said, "It would be nice if this could be Heaven." The inside is attractive and convenient.

We only stayed for two nights, but enjoyed our visit. Our twins (3) especially loved playing at the beach and swimming in the lake. Plenty of space, great location, quiet community with friendly neighbors. Would love to visit again!

Such a relaxing and unplugged week on this gem of an island! The cottage was charming, the kids biked to the close beach every day, the dvd collection was put to use every night and puzzle was worked to completion! The beaches on the island are amazing, each of the three beaches are unique and great to explore. Truman was super responsive and a fantastic host!
