Liz was absolutely wonderful. She was out of town at the time of my stay but her mom was house sitting for her. She was fantastic! We shared a lovely conversation. Even though Liz was out of town, she messaged me a couple times throughout my stay to make sure that everything was ok. I loved that she had a washer and dryer available. Actually, she had anything you needed. Even Q-tips. I felt very at home! The location is excellent too! You are not far from all things Gainesville, yet you are nestled in a very peaceful neighborhood:) I highly recommend Liz’s place!

We enjoyed feeding the animals. We brought apples and carrots for them. The baby goats are adorable, and Highland cows and donkeys and ponies! We rented a slip for our bass boat at Sportsmans Cove nearby. The fishing was not very good maybe due to time of year, but we caught a few small bass. The hydrilla is thick throughout Orange Lake. The Airbnb had a comfortable bed. We requested an additional portable heater because the one heater wasn't enough for both rooms, and it was immediately provided. . The induction stove has only one burner, but there is also a crock pot and an air fryer and outdoor grill. As other reviews stated, the dogs do bark in the mornings at times, and roosters crow very early. We used ear plugs at night which helped us to sleep. Don't miss the huge old Live Oak in their front yard that's hundreds of years old!

What a wonderful location! My 15 yr old son and I had a long father/son weekend during his spring break fishing at Orange Lake. This place was perfect. Quiet, peaceful in the middle of horse country apparently. We enjoyed sitting outside at night listening to the wildlife, looking at the stars and pondering life. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, homey, and peaceful, making it feel like a true retreat. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful touch of having laundry baskets to make the place feel even more like home. The ice machine was a great bonus, and the place was fully stocked with everything I could possibly need. The host was also kind and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped place to stay!
