This cabin is beautiful, cozy, and clean. My family owns a home in the area, and this was the perfect sanctuary away from the family. I’ve seen other cabins, and this one is particularly private which is great. Very clean, thoughtful touches throughout. Thanks for hosting us!

Everything was perfect for our needs! The home is in a great location with lots of nearby activities. Great for children and adults! Our host was very responsive and took care of everything including and early check in and late check out! 10 out of 10!!! Hope to stay there again!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay very much and took advantage of the great amenities. We soaked in the hot tub, went to the pool, listened to records, sat by the fire pit, did a load of laundry, and more. The loft and games were fun for our kids and they loved wandering around the cabin looking at nature. The master bed was very comfortable and the rugs were soft under our feet. We loved the red decor and all the wood. We had such a great time being active as a family, that we didn’t even watch tv. My wife and I had both been to BBR separately with friends, but never all together. It definitely didn’t disappoint. The staff at the pool and Lakeside cafe were friendly too. We went to three Black Butte playgrounds with our kids and walked on the nature trails and bike paths. It’s a short drive into Sisters for more dining, hiking and playgrounds too. Lane was a very responsive and helpful host. Can’t wait to go back.

We loved staying at Karley's place. It was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. It's very close to Hoodoo and great restaurants, especially in Sisters.

I wish we stayed longer! This place is outstanding. We’ll be back for a longer golf trip, and hopefully we’ll see the baby deers just off the back porch with their own families next time ☺️ such a peaceful stay and those beds are so comfortable! Thanks for hosting us.

We had a great stay over Christmas. Brasada Ranch is an incredible place. We try to vacation there every year. The place we stayed was clean and very nice. We will be booking again soon!

The space is decorated super cutely, and for such a small footprint, they’ve done a great job making it usable. We loved that it was dog-friendly and that mountain biking trails are literally right out the back door—that was a huge plus. It was also great that each bedroom has its own bathroom, which made sharing with friends much easier. That said, it’s a bit steeply priced for how small it is. With four adults, a little dog, and all our outdoor gear, it felt pretty cramped. If you’re traveling light or not bringing a lot of bikes or gear, it’s probably fine—but ideally, it’s best suited for two people. The kitchen is very small, but manageable for simple meals, and the back patio overlooking the forest is a lovely bonus. I’d definitely stay again if it were just two of us, though the cost might be a little hard to justify without splitting it at least 3 ways. Overall, a cute and convenient stay about 10 minutes from downtown Bend.

We have family in the area but to find a place at a reasonable price to welcome us and our dogs is difficult. We really appreciate everything that was available, and the home felt welcoming!

My group and I had a wonderful stay! The place was spacious and pleasant to come back to after a day of skiing at Mt Bachelor!

Maya‘s place was very cozy and well equipped. She even provided several throws to use when snuggling by the fireplace. Lovely neighborhood with walking trails.

George’s cabin absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is both cozy, with a rustic feel, and super clean and organized. A combination that is rare to find. It felt super spacious for the two of us friends staying in the two separate rooms, and I imagine it would feel spacious for two couples as well. George was very welcoming and accommodating to me traveling with my fur baby. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much, George!

Beautiful and quiet cabin in the Metolius Basin! Cabin has been completely remodeled, beautiful kitchen and comfortable furniture in living room. Incredible collection of DVD and Blu-ray movies! King bed is comfortable and bathroom is very nice. Cleaning at the end of your stay is part of the deal, but Rick has everything you need to do the job on site.

We loved staying at this charming lodge. The studio cabin was quaint with such beautiful surroundings with close proximity to skiing at Hoodoo. Walking trails and the hot tub were a bonus and nice for a winter visit. The lodge was fantastic. Lake Creek Lodge is a great place to stay!

Another tranquil & serene week w/ Thor, Angela, Marj & team on the Metolius! 5 STARs & then some 👌🏼👌🏼 This was my third visit to the property & I think it just keeps getting better & better. This trip, I got to bring my half-sister & next adventure, we hope to share a cabin & the Metolius Magic w/ our mother! The Ponderosa cabin is my favorite so far. It’s a little smaller than the Manzanita cabin but the kicker is its fireplace & location/deck so close to the river. I would highly recommend the Ponderosa cabin to a couple looking for a romantic time in a quaint cabin. I shared it instead with my half-sister, but made it all work out with a very comfy rollaway bed that Mark brought us on arrival. I’ve been an Airbnb Super Host for 8 years (4 listings in Teton Valley - look me up by searching “Sunlit Grand Teton Chalet!) & each time I visit HOM, I take notes and get inspired to make little changes to improve my guests overall experience. Wow! Perfect little wildlife refuge in the heart of the Metolius. The river runs almost directly underneath this cabin, making it ideal for bird watching - right from the window! I loved this place and I will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Absolutely wonderful vacation home. The house is very nicely appointed. Beautiful finishes, design, and necessities. The property is amazingly peaceful, and very well preserved. Limited number of cabins that are well spaced. Not completely isolated, but these are quiet type clientele that appreciate the surroundings. Stunning views of Ponderosa Pine woods, grass land, river and mountains, all in one frame. Bird watchers paradise. Incredible quiet star gazing. If your goal is to unplug, refresh, and experience all that the best of Central Oregon has to offer, you will not be disappointed. Professionally run rentals. A special place.

House was great! Stocked well for cooking and staying in. Very clean. Hot Tub could’ve used more water but was still a nice amenity.

It’s the perfect size for a couple. The wood paneling and lighting made it super cozy at night. And the views of the river are very relaxing!
