Absolutely wonderful vacation home. The house is very nicely appointed. Beautiful finishes, design, and necessities. The property is amazingly peaceful, and very well preserved. Limited number of cabins that are well spaced. Not completely isolated, but these are quiet type clientele that appreciate the surroundings. Stunning views of Ponderosa Pine woods, grass land, river and mountains, all in one frame. Bird watchers paradise. Incredible quiet star gazing. If your goal is to unplug, refresh, and experience all that the best of Central Oregon has to offer, you will not be disappointed. Professionally run rentals. A special place.

Just like other reviews have said, pictures do not do this beautiful space justice. The bed was very comfortable and the wood stove was excellent. Some extra amenities included 40L of water, a very nice cooler, plenty of firewood, a towel for the outdoor shower, and a clean and well stocked porta-potty. The cabin also came with some grilling utensils, two pans, a kettle, and a french press. We wished we had brought more of a camp kitchen (plates, bowls, silverware), but otherwise this space was perfect. Bring binoculars if you want some excellent bird watching! We can't wait to visit again.

We loved staying at this charming lodge. The studio cabin was quaint with such beautiful surroundings with close proximity to skiing at Hoodoo. Walking trails and the hot tub were a bonus and nice for a winter visit. The lodge was fantastic. Lake Creek Lodge is a great place to stay!

Beautiful and quiet cabin in the Metolius Basin! Cabin has been completely remodeled, beautiful kitchen and comfortable furniture in living room. Incredible collection of DVD and Blu-ray movies! King bed is comfortable and bathroom is very nice. Cleaning at the end of your stay is part of the deal, but Rick has everything you need to do the job on site.

Another tranquil & serene week w/ Thor, Angela, Marj & team on the Metolius! 5 STARs & then some 👌🏼👌🏼 This was my third visit to the property & I think it just keeps getting better & better. This trip, I got to bring my half-sister & next adventure, we hope to share a cabin & the Metolius Magic w/ our mother! The Ponderosa cabin is my favorite so far. It’s a little smaller than the Manzanita cabin but the kicker is its fireplace & location/deck so close to the river. I would highly recommend the Ponderosa cabin to a couple looking for a romantic time in a quaint cabin. I shared it instead with my half-sister, but made it all work out with a very comfy rollaway bed that Mark brought us on arrival. I’ve been an Airbnb Super Host for 8 years (4 listings in Teton Valley - look me up by searching “Sunlit Grand Teton Chalet!) & each time I visit HOM, I take notes and get inspired to make little changes to improve my guests overall experience. Thanks again team! Be easy 🤍

This is the ideal location to enjoy Camp Sherman. Riverfront with a huge communal lawn, it is the ultimate relaxing summer camp feeling. You can walk to the iconic Camp Sherman store in 5 minutes, and enjoy the restaurant next door. This is what a Camp Sherman escape is all about.

We had a fantastic stay in Cabin #3 at Camp Sherman! The cabin was well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely view of the river. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the charming Camp Sherman Store. The nearby restaurant, Hola, offers delicious Peruvian cuisine, which was very convenient. While it could be a bit noisy at times due to its proximity, it closes at 9:00 PM, so it wasn’t disruptive during our stay. The cabins are nestled close together, which does limit privacy a bit, but the decks are thoughtfully spaced, and with some strategic use of the window coverings, you can enjoy both the view and your privacy inside. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would love to return for another visit!

This property, the folks who run the show & the cabin are 5 STAR awesome! If you’re looking for a zen vibe under a volcano with a mellow river running through it, you’ve found THE spot. The digs are clean, well appointed and super comfortable. I travel a ton internationally for skiing, fly fishing, etc.. and this cabin was right on. We’ve been hosting our properties on Airbnb for 7+ years and I thought they did a really good job! Thanks again Team!!

We had a great stay in Cabin 1. Best view of the Metolius in my opinion. We stated during a very hot weekend but prepared with plenty of fans. My only feedback would be to clarify that there is only 2 bedrooms in the house (1 King, 1 full and a twin in the full room). There was also a pull out couch downstairs. From the pictures I was under the impression there was 3 actual beds but they changed the comforters in 2 of the pictures. Otherwise, our stay was really great! Would definitely stay again!

This cabin was even better than the pics and description. It even had heated bathroom floors. And the setting was absolutely stunning. My husband fished every day and I had plenty of places to walk and explore. And the town of Sisters is adorable with lots of cute shops and places to eat. We’ll definitely be back.
