Rosie’s place was lovely! Quiet location with amazing views. We were nice and warm and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay, it was local to nearby walks and caverns we visited.

We felt at home immediately in Linda's cottage, it was clean and every room had its own charm. The location was excellent for us, good pub down the road and walks into the stunning countryside from the doorstep. Having the beautiful garden area meant we could enjoy a relaxed coffee with a view over the town of Cromford and beyond to the Derbyshire Hills. Scarthin Books is definitely worth visiting, leave time to browse and daydream. One of the stand out experiences for us was the open air, fresh water swimming pool 5 minutes drive away at Matlock Bath. Sauna and spa treatments were available too. We'd love to return soon.

We spent a very comfortable few days staying at this historic property. When we arrived, the place was warm and cosy - very clean, with attractive decor in keeping with the house. Karen was an excellent host - she provided clear instructions and advice and there was plenty of information available about the history of the property, as well as leaflets about things to see and do in the area - many within walking distance. We thoroughly recommend a break here - we enjoyed every moment of our stay!
