Idyllic location, clean and comfortable apartment. Great bed for a good nights sleep with black out curtains and blinds. Peaceful and friendly neighbourhood, conveniently located 5 mins from train station, (keep your directions offline due to signal). Apartment contained everything we needed with good transport links to North Devon and Mainland England. Thank you Sandy & Todd, and your pup for hosting us.

The Stables is a beautiful place to stay, perfect for long stays also. It is situated in a lovely area. The house is wonderful, the living room is cozy, with a wood burner and the kitchen is well-equipped and spacious. Everything I needed was at the house, and any queries I had were quickly and helpfully responded to. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fabulous time. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable with 2 nice bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the complementary lemon cake and local milk. Surroundings are lovely., it is very tranquil. With a car you can get to many picturesque villages and the national park.

We appreciated the very warm welcome from Louise and her accommodation provided everything we hoped for during our three day visit. The combined sitting, dining, kitchen area was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen with microwave, hob, oven and fridge was well equipped and had everything needed for self catering. Parking was easy with a dedicated space. Look out for random chickens and chicks wandering about when driving in and out! It was a delight to wake up and see the sun shining on the stunning rolling hills opposite from the bed. As we were only two, the second twin bedded bedroom made an excellent dressing room. The breakfast starter kit of cereals, eggs, bread, milk and fruit juice was very much appreciated. The quiet tranquillity of the farm and the surroundings were a delight. We could have sat in the garden all day but there is so much to see and enjoy locally and further afield. Thank you Louise providing such a wonderful place to stay.
