The house was so beautiful inside and out with amazing views over the beach. Everything was clean and was exactly as Duncan described. We only stayed for a few days but it was exactly what we needed and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Lake District get away

Great holiday home with fantastic views. Kitchen has all you need to cook with. She had left eggs and milk which was very appreciated. Good location, close to lots of towns and places to eat. Would stay again

Great place for groups and nature lovers. We chose Susans barn for a hiking outing as a group of friends and it was ideal - the surroundings are tranquil and there are many hikes right around the house. While it isn't easy to reach and you need to come prepared in terms of grocery shopping, this effort is worth the calming mood of the barn. We were four people and had plenty of space, and could enjoy relaxed evenings in front of the fireplace. The living room might get a bit crowded for more people, but we definitely didn't feel like we missed anything.

A very comfortable overnight stay on our Coast to Coast walk. Beautiful surroundings and only a short walk to the village.Grateful that Linda was able to let us check in early when pouring rain was forecast.
