Monthly Rentals in Crianlarich

Cameron on site was excellent. He had great local recommendations. The house was fantastic with a lovely view of the Loch. Cute on site visitors center with snacks, food, and drinks for sale. Portnellian was such a great estate.

Stunning location and lodge. Felt comfortable immediately and enjoyed our rest and recovery for 4 nights in Deerstalker. Really enjoyed our stay despite the rain and would like to visit Portnellan again when the weather is more favourable as imagine it would be absolutely beautiful !

I’ve stayed at Allan’s place before: so that tells you something! Perfectly located for hill walking. Particularly well equipped kitchen - sharp knives: hooray! Parking very convenient. Excellent communication from Allan and I tried not to eat too many of the shortbread biscuits that were left out to welcome me!

This is a review not for Travelnest (intermediary only) but for the actual host Cameron Portnellan and his lodge: We had already fallen in love with the photos. Pure nature, great view, privacy in the middle of Scotland, beautiful accommodation… Everything has come true on site. It's really great and also as described. The equipment was excellent. It was very clean and everything was thought of. Our host Cameron was always approachable. In his welcome center/shop, you could buy some great products. From organic meat for BBQ, wine, honey, coffee pods, etc. Since the nearest mom and pop shop are 5 min by car and the nearest supermarket is 20 min, that was a great backup. If we are on vacation in the area again, then we would choose the lodge again.
