The flexibility regarding check-in and checkout times was really an asset and we really appreciated your kindness. The house is a model of taste and comfort. The quality amenities perfectly met our expectations and we were able to fully enjoy the outdoors, lunch and dinner on the terrace. This is a great find for peace and quiet. The house has everything you need for cooking and storing food and drink for your time there, very easy self-catering. The pool is amazing and our kids spent most of the days in it. There’s a supermarket about 8 minutes drive and Bergerac is about 30 minutes away. Maxance was really helpful and check in, after a long drive, was really flexible, we arrived at 9pm which was no problem. We didn’t notice anyone else in the property even though Maxance’s family are there, it felt very private. A great place to enjoy local produce by a great pool in the lovely French summer sun. Beautiful estate in a beautiful area. Lots to do, walks, cycling along the Dordogne, Bergerac or just quiet by the pool. Pleasant contact with the owner.

Well equipped and good location. We had a great month by the fire, quiet, surrounded by nature. Close to small towns with activities, supermarkets and 20min from Perigueux About 2 hours from Sarlat and other beautiful sites in the Dordogne. Even though a lot of things are closed in January, we didn't get bored! Easy and pleasant communication with Jacques and his daughter Claire-Helene. Friendly hosts, we recharged ourselves. Comfortable bed too which is a bonus! Thank you for everything
