Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

Communication before the stay was very good. A nice terrace/pool, although cool, was very enjoyable. Comfortable bedding and close by car to St Emilion.

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

Cozy large house with beautiful swimming pool and beautiful views of vineyards, forest and valley. Very quiet and yet very close to Bordeaux and other beautiful historical sites. Pascal's wine tasting was a great opportunity to immediately initiate oneself in the Bordeaux wine. Thanks to Pascal's house, we had a fantastic week. A real paradise.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!

Lovely place to stay, a little oasis with a secluded garden and pool hidden from the road, which we thoroughly enjoyed using. Anne was lovely and welcoming and happy to provide lots of suggestions throughout our stay. Lots of lovely touches - we had food in our fridge, fruit to eat and she left us a basket of fresh bread on our first morning there. Great location, easy to walk to the river and all the shops but close to public transport when needed.

Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Auguste's home was perfect for a family holiday. The house is large, airy and features lots of areas to relax and socialise in. The surrounding gardens, pool and dock are stunning. The home is situated at a quiet lane with Auguste next door. He was an attentive and helpful host and gave us all the space we needed. Our group did not have a car so relied on taxis, with mixed results - so keep that in mind. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks

I stayed three nights with our others, who were very welcoming and precise, the accommodation is very well kept, the bedding is really comfortable. The place is impeccable, easy to park, small village, charming. Recommended

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen… a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, a plus. In short, we will gladly go back if we return to the area.

Exceptionally clean home! Quiet, functional and well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking a green setting where you can hopefully see a squirrel having fun in the trees. 20 minutes from Bordeaux, it is nice to visit this beautiful city. We will go back without hesitation. See you soon…

We were an international group of 6 people. The place was huge and elegant. The host Sophie was also super kind and flexible. We had very pleasant stay!

We have been booking through AirBnB for several years, but this was the most beautiful and cleanest so far. The location was also more than good. In the middle of a residential area in a cul-de-sac. It was very quiet and within walking distance of downtown.

We had a wonderful week at Régine's in a spotless and beautiful house. A small haven of peace that offers all the comforts you need for a relaxing and relaxing week of vacation. Such a fantastic house to have a holiday. Amazing amenities including the amazing outdoor cooking/bbq space we used a lot. The pool and huge amount of pool games and other games was amazing. The house was really lovely and well located to be able to visit St Emillion, Pomerol, Libourne and other areas quickly. We definitely plan to go back!
