It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

Chris is an amazing host. We have been several times at his cottage and he has become a friend. Chris is so engaging, very attentive and a fab host. His house is a real gem in Sussex.

Janet was friendly, welcoming and interesting to talk to. I met Andrew briefly at breakfast and he was friendly and nice to talk to also. The room and en suite bathroom were comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch and appreciated. Good to have a dedicated workspace and off road parking as well. There is no view over the Goodwood motor racing circuit or racecourse from the room but Janet said there is from somewhere not very far from the house. There is a bit of a view from the window of the downs beyond the housing. The place was clean and attractive and a good place to spend the night. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Our second fabulous stay in this extraordinary B&B in the countryside. Very tastefully decorated in a rustic eclectic style. L&R are the most welcoming and warmhearted hosts. An exceptional experience.

A wonderful cottage in a great location surrounded by good pubs and eating places. Easy to find with good parking facilities. The cottage is fabulous much better than we could ever have imagined, peaceful and relaxing with fantastic views. The owner has considered all your needs to ensure a perfect stay. The breakfast food was terrific much more than expected. We were disappointed that we only booked 5 nights, next time we will certainly stay longer.

Andrew is a super experienced host and he makes everything he can to let you feel at home. He's keen of his home and the surrounding area, which is pristine and enjoyable. Have had a pleasant staying.

We have a great time staying at Louisa’s gorgeous family home - it’s in a quiet neighborhood perfect for families and walking distance to cute cafes, shops and parks. The house is beautifully styled and very spacious, we had our best nights sleep here and would highly recommend!

A stay with Deborah is highly recommended, everything was spot on, we appreciated a place to park even beyond our check out time. Deborah is friendly interesting and welcoming, we'd definitely visit again if we're on the area and it isn't booked out. Thank you.

Fiona was a stellar host. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very much enjoyed chatting to Fiona over breakfast and appreciated any advice given on how to get around the city. John & Mandy were great host. They kept our rooms ready with fresh towels and napkins. The space is filled with personal pictures and has a great character of its own. John was kind to make us proper English breakfast and made us feel really comfortable and special throughout our stay.

Mara is a wonderful host she has a lovely house I found the whole experience really good, very clean comfy bed, a nice room & Mara is extremely helpful & nice five stars from me.

Just wanted to say how amazing Sophie has been from start to finish. We booked this one year in advance and Sophie was always on hand with any questions. Probably one of the best service we had ever. The place Sophie has is beautiful. The photos do not do this place justice. We thank you for such an amazing safe space to visit.

James was a fantastic host when my Dad stayed with him over Christmas in his beautiful house in central Cuckfield. The only thing to flag in case it is an issue is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, which is entirely in keeping with the very characterful house, but the less mobile guests may find them a challenge! James could not have done more to ensure my Dad had a comfortable stay and was made to feel very welcome - we will definitely be back!!

I was a delight to stay at Vivien’s cosy accommodation. She was the perfect host cooking us a lovely breakfast.

Had a wonderful stay! The room was bright and cozy, located in the attic, offering a lovely sense of privacy even though it was part of the same house. It was perfect for three people — comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. We also really appreciated the generous vegan breakfast provided, tailored to our dietary requirements. This was our first time using Airbnb, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Rachel and Morgan were super helpful and made us feel very welcome. On top of that, everything was very reasonably priced, especially considering there was no minimum two-night stay requirement like many other places. It truly made the stay even better. Really loved it, very clean and modern property. Loved the garden furniture and garden. Nice to sit out and enjoy the sunshine in peace and quiet. Everything you need for your stay plus extras eg disposable flip flops/slippers and towels provided - didn’t expect this, very happy. Loved the breakfast and treats provided, thank you. Tamila always communicated well and promptly-checked to see I had checked in ok. I would stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed with Kristina. A great place, peaceful, clean and Kristina is a lovely welcoming host.

This was booked for a works appointment but the flat was absolutely substantial for what we needed. Clean, well equipped, instructions and communication from Isabela was excellent. If you need a reasonable place to stay close to Brighton then I would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Trish has been a great host, the house was spotless and she has provided so many little extra's that you just do not normally get. I will defiantly look to stay again when back working in the area.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.

What can I say other than wow. This beautiful Airbnb is incredibly peaceful, in a gorgeous location and perfectly presented. Sarah is one of the best hosts I have had, not only was she incredibly friendly, helpful but she went out of her way to make me feel right at home and offered a delicious breakfast in the mornings too. I wish I could rate this Airbnb higher than 5 stars because its worth double that. I will definitely be back in the future.

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
