Beachfront vacation rentals in Coxen Hole

The condo was very nice with great ocean views, being located right on iron shore. Great to watch the ship traffic during morning coffee or evening sun downers. Location is ideal - in a nice peaceful residential neighborhood, but only a 5’ walk to the shops/restaurants/bars of west end. Also, there are some places that are even closer (Stowaway, Paolo’s, Loretta’s). Definitely no need for a car (unless you plan on heading to the east end of the island…). Kitchen is well set up. Highlight for me was the multiple coffee prep methods (moka pot, French press, drip). Awesome to have a good cup of coffee while watching the cruise ships go by in the morning.

Jennifer and Tommy were amazing host, arranged pick up at airport, greeted us when we arrived and provided numerous helpful suggestions. Loved sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee watching macaws and hummingbirds forage in nearby trees. Snorkeled every morning at turtle bay saw many species of fish, rays, lobsters. Loved taking the water taxi to West bay and West end. Highly recommend the fire show at Bannarama on Sunday it was amazing. So many great restaurants to choose from. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you again Jennifer and Tommy, looking forward to returning again someday.

We had a wonderful stay at the Calabash Reef House! You can see the ocean through the swaying palm trees and hear the waves. The reef just off the shared dock is beautiful. The neighbors are super friendly and helpful. A few things to know: You must have a 4x4 or AWD to get to the house (or a motorbike). There are several very steep hills once you leave the main road. If you have a pet hair allergy this is not a good place to stay - there is a lot of cat hair in every nook and cranny. The water can be rather tricky if you are there in the dry season. You will need to be very frugal and keep a close eye on tank levels. In order to fill the tanks you will need to turn the pump on and off twice a week at set times - and they don't always get full. This little neighborhood is very isolated. It is at least a 20-minute drive to a restaurant and there are not many restaurants on the east end. If you want nightlife stay on the west end. Personally, we like the quiet of the east end.

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at this exotic, tropical, fun, and beautiful place. The backyard was the ocean, and it was a really nice place to kayak/standup paddle board which they provided. Also in the backyard there is lots of shells and snorkeling opportunities. The rooms have really nice beds and bathrooms and had a homey feeling. The kitchen was really big and fully loaded with every kitchen supply you need. Me and my family would love to stay here again!

Very comfortable, we had a balcony that we could people watch on West end road. The kitchen was very modern even tho we didn’t use it. I will definitely stay there again. For the price it was money well spent

Another review said the vibe was better in person and they were 100% correct! The vibes are great The house is really well kept and functional. AC kept the bedroom nice and cool for sleeping. I found opening the porch doors and living room windows with the fans on kept that area at a reasonable temperature. Housekeeping was done every day and lots of towels were provided (no beach towels though). They have shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion in the bathroom. The porch was EVERYTHING! I laid in the hammock every night and read. The breeze out there was lovely. One day it stormed all day and it was nice to lay in the hammock reading and listening to the sound of the storm. The location is right in the middle of west end and yet the bedroom is quiet! I always travel with earplugs, in case, but only one night I could slightly hear some bass from a near by club, and even then I didn’t need my ear plugs. The also arranged an airport transfer for $30 each way.

If you’re looking for a home to relax and enjoy an amazing view this is the place. The house slept 7 of us comfortably. Nice common spaces yet still private. Well equipped kitchen where we made a lot of meals. Grocery only 10-15 min away. The cove restaurant next door was nice for dinner and drinks and even live music. The dive shop is located there too and can arrange dives. Snorkel trips, fishing . Anything you ask. The pool made for relaxing days soaking up the sun while looking f at paradise. From the time we arrived at the airport until the time we left, Salome made everything effortless . She provided us with rental cars (recommend), drove us to a catamaran tour and waited for us all day, and offered tons on information about the island . She was always just a text away. If you’re looking for a great time , a great house, and a great host this is it! Ps- if you see Gretchen (pup that lives on island) give her a hug, an ear scratch , and some food for me 💕

This house was AMAZING!! The perfect quiet location, incredibly clean, and felt very safe. The house was well stocked with all the amenities, had excellent AC and was meticulously maintained, we would absolutely stay again!

Unforgettable Stay! We had an absolutely incredible experience staying at Mark’s Place in Infinity Bay, Roatán! The location is unbeatable, right on the beautiful West Bay Beach. The property was spotless, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to beautiful views and enjoying morning coffee on the balcony was a dream. Sunsets are amazing at the pool. The resort itself is beautiful, with lush landscaping, a massive pool that winds through the property, and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Having a restaurant and beach bar right on the complex with live music and fire shows was a plus and having supermarkets, bars and restaurants at walking distance with shuttle to and from the airport made everything super convenient. The host was responsive, helpful, and provided excellent local tips. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Serenity by the Sea! The condo was clean and comfortable with all we needed. It was the perfect location to walk to the beach, restaurants and activities at West End. The owners were attentive, responding promptly to all questions/concerns from booking through our stay. We also enjoyed time at the pool and meeting others staying at the Villas. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay in West End!

Bella Luna offered a fantastic location to snorkel right off of the beach and have many local restaurants within close proximity of the property. Unfortunately during our stay, the two restaurants on either side of the property were temporarily closed, there were man delicious places to eat within a very short walk. The unit itself had everything we needed for our stay. Full kitchen and amenities as well as beach/pool towels. I love that they use a local soap artisan for their guest soaps in all of their properties! Marvin is the caretaker and is very prompt in the morning to clean up the landscape, rake the beach area, and make sure everything is clean for the day. We have stayed at several Roatan Life properties and their staff is always top-notch and offer incredible service. Would highly recommend staying at a Roatan Life property in the future.

The place you stay is a a huge part of any trip and this place is gorgeous. It’s Roatan life embodied. Stephanie made sure where we stayed was exactly as described and the bonus was linking us with some really incredible local resources. We especially loved the driver she recommended as he was incredibly helpful in his island insights and ways to enjoy our trip in the exact ways we wanted to

Stephanie was very accommodating! The pictures do not do the plave justice, it was absolutely beautiful. We loved the setting as we were near the middle of the island so we could easily get to either end within a reasonable time. The lack of crowds, especially on cruise ship days, was wonderful.

Ryan’s place is peaceful, private and clean. It is on a part of the island that is beautiful and less traveled The road down to the water can be a bit of a challenge I would recommend a vehicle suitable like a jeep The kitchen is well equipped and has everything. Buy food and personal supplies before you get there. The property manager Kendra is fluent in English and extremely helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at The Pink Orchid in Roatan! The house was spotless, and communication about the rental, amenities, and local attractions was excellent. Al was always in touch before our visit, making sure we had all the details we needed. The location is perfect—both West Bay and West End are easily walkable from the beach. The dock is a great spot for a swim, and there’s even a bit of snorkeling just north of it. We highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the area!

This place was awesome. I especially liked waking every morning to a beautiful ocean view ! The small cafe down the street was great for breakfast. Food at Lorettas was good as well. We did not eat at the gastropub as it really was so small and you needed reservations and there are so many good places in town. Yahongreh or Sandy Buns for breakfast, Gingers or Booty Bar (a little loud) for lunch. Best supper we had was at The Drunken Sailor. The wagon with the beach chairs and flotation things were a great bonus! We felt like locals walking down with our cool stuff. Snorkeling in front of Gingers is awesome. Make sure and take a water taxi to Igabari for a spectacular meal !!! Thank you for a great stay!

Lara’s Dream is right on the water of course and plenty of snorkeling if you’re up for a bit of walking through some shallows. There are dive boats at the reef a few hundred yards away every day. The house is simple and comfortable with basic kitchen items and appliances. The bedroom has AC which is very nice @ night. We spent most of the daylight hours on the balcony overlooking the sea. Lenora is the house manager, she is a gem! Picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the airport for a modest fee. Both Lenora and Laraine were super communicative at all times. Laraine provided a lot of really helpful information as well. We did scuba diving roommate, it some really nice restaurants, nearby, and walking distance . I’m also a bird watcher and hired a local bird guide to show me around the island and he showed me some incredible birds that I never would’ve found on my own . We had a really nice time and will likely come back someday I recommend Laura’s dream.

Jerry was extremely responsive and responded quickly to anything we needed. We stayed 2 weeks and were very pleased. It’s a fantastic location. A 5 minute walk to all the things to do in West End while being very quiet and peaceful. Good value for the price. We will be back!

The beach was pristine, fly fishing in your front yard! The host was very attentive to whatever request you had! The kayaks were top notch!

We stayed at Casa Azul for 8 days and the house was beautiful. Catrina arranged all of our transfers to and from the airport which included a stop at the grocery store to get food and drinks for the week. Upon arrival we were met by a key holder who was very nice and asked if we had any questions about the house. The house is in a quiet location with perfect views of the Caribbean Sea and only a 5 to 10 minute walk on the beach to the West End where all the shops and restaurants are located. We spent the week scuba diving and used the dive shop located next to the house. Blue Moon Scuba was great and the diving was incredible. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed for the week. We loved everything about Casa Azul and I would highly recommend this house for a great vacation. Thank you Catrina!

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking whether it was sunrise or sunset, we couldn’t get enough of the scenery. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. The location was easy to find, and having accessible car parking right on site made everything so convenient, especially after long days exploring the area. The host was friendly and responsive, and the space was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and hassle-free parking!
