Spacious, beautiful, and peaceful! This was a very well-appointed home that accommodated six comfortably and allowed us to organize our gear and cook real meals. I only wish we could have stayed longer to play frisbee or croquet on the grass and eaten some meals outside in the gorgeous green surroundings. Would return in a heartbeat!

This place was amazing. It was so nice to experience something completely different and old fashioned. Wish we could have stayed another couple of days so that I could spend some more time playing the piano and taking in the fresh air.

Great location for those looking to visit Portland! right by a lot of great places to eat and go hang out at. it's private and was easy to get into. Me and my gf went to Portland for some hiking trips and Lindsey's place was in a great location and was super clean! We loved the space and would recommend to anyone. Its located in a quiet neighborhood, which was great when you open the windows to let in the cool air.

This home is one of my top places I have stayed in on Airbnb. I walked into that home and out to the back door absolutely breathtaking views. This home is 3 adventures in one. 1st the deck BBQ, fire pit and Hot tub(wood is provided). 2nd the yard below the home, has a huge open grass area with a big fire pit, close to the river. 3rd the river great spot for chairs and family private. Very lucky it was hot outside, we got to go swimming 3 times. The house was super clean 5 stars. This home had all the things and more needed to cook in the kitchen mama was stocked up. Book this home and enjoy being unplugged from the world, I flet like I was at grown up camp. Thank you for the treats and birthday candle 🕯 💕

Our family had an absolutely unforgettable time at the Randle Retreat! The home and property was spacious enough for our group of 5 adults, 2 kids, and even our dog. The game room was such a fun bonus and added extra smiles to our stay (& the kids discovered old school video games!) The house is clearly so lovingly maintained, and the attention to detail shows in every corner. Stepping outside felt like walking into a postcard - it’s so peaceful, beautiful and serene. It was truly a magical mountain getaway! We’re so grateful to have gotten to stay here & hope to return again soon!

The view here is gorgeous and the decor inside is beautiful. This place is probably best for 2 couples with kids. We were 10 adults so it was a bit tight. The bunk room was adorable for kids but the top bunk was not as functional for an adult. We brought a cot so 2 people could still sleep in there. The kitchen is very well appointed. We loved our time here!

Great place! Renee was an amazing host. the hot tub and sauna were amazing. the beds were clean and comfy. kitchen clean and stocked with listed amenities. host was clear and concise with communication. check in was a breeze. check out instructions were clear, quick and easy. exactly what we needed for a perfect trip

This is our 7th year here and it was a charming as ever. We feel so lucky to be able to stay at this sweet cottage home, enjoy the vast lawn and trek through the woods. Great location for walking on the waterfront and playing in the river. Brenda was wonderful with communication and was able to get a high chair and pack n play for our little one during our stay. Very comfortable beds and living space.

We came to town for my son’s basketball tournament. The house was located perfectly for our games and a great place to relax during down time. It was very clean with thoughtful touches like pool towels and new pool toys for the kids. The pool was so much fun, and it was even warm! We all had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and well kept. We had a great time playing games and watching movies. The beds were very comfortable and the overall environment was very relaxing. We would love to come back and visit again! Thank you for the great experience!

Our Airbnb experience at this property was exceptional. The host's warm welcome fostered a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Probably one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure to experience. The hot tub and adjacent fire pit were delightful amenities. The unit's charming décor and thoughtful design created an idyllic setting. While featuring one bed, the unit comfortably accommodated three guests. We plan to book this property again when visiting the Portland/Vancouver area.

This was by far the best Air B&B we've stayed at. We got in just before the summer prices hit which was even better. The pool (and hot tub)is heated and NOT chlorinated (must be salt water) that is super important for some of us. PLENTY of space to not be on top of eachother. 🗝 One thing you want to keep in mind, there are spices, but no condiments whatsoever.

Lynne and Lucy were great hosts! My kids and I felt right at home here. This is a perfect place to getaway, relax, and stay for a few days. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable!

We had such a lovely stay here. The view is insane, the outdoor space is just incredible. The master bedroom is stunning, the kitchen is fully stocked. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable, tons of towels for hot tub which was very clean and gorgeous. And we lived on the outdoor deck. Easy drive to mt rainier np! (I would suggest having a 4 wheel drive vehicle, it’s steep drive up the mountain on an unpaved road. We had a 4 runner so we were 100% fine! Only had a few cons. There was a mouse inside leaving droppings everywhere and I found it in the kitchen sink. 20 minutes to the closest store/gas station (pro and con lol) living room couches are old and stained, spider webs at face height in some corners. Just thought I’d share for the price. value.

We loved our stay at the sky cabin! It was just private enough we felt comfortable and the "woodsy outdoorsy" feeling but close enough to society to get food and other necessities when needed. Gryselle was super quick-responding and accommodating. Would definitely book again in the future!

Jon’s home was great! Very peaceful and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable too!

If I am in the area again, I will look for availability here! Peace and quiet, beautiful park-like setting, very friendly and responsive host, all of the accommodation that I needed, well kept and very clean. Highly recommend!!!

Impressive log cabin with beautiful private yard and lovely wooded trails. House is very spacious and comfortable, plenty of beds but only one enclosed bedroom. Fun space for a group. Ethan was very flexible and good at communicating promptly. Loved the hot tub, stone fireplace is gorgeous though we didn’t put to use. The is a very special place

Enjoyed our stay at Jon's place. For our small group of 7, this was homebase for a couple days of daytrips to explore and hike the Mt Saint Helens area. Great communication before and during our stay. Place was clean and as described. Very clear instructions throughout to answer any questions you might have. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place with lots of thoughtful touches, from a photo guest book to snacks, kids books and toys, bear spray for hikes… they thought of everything!

Very relaxing and comfortable stay to end a long road trip. Our pup felt right at home which was nice because she's really shy and sensative to sounds but it was a nice and quiet stay for her. Loved watching the birds and relaxing in the hottub in the evening which is level with the tree canopy. The place is nice and clean with a fully stocked kitchen and a great coffee selection. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

We loved this place and would definitely come back! The house and surrounding property matched the pictures. The amenities supplies were many. For example, various teas, coffee, and snacks for hiking and toiletries. I especially appreciated the kitchen as the cookware was of good quality and not the cheap stuff that is usually provided. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was welcoming. The outdoor area had many spaces to unwind. For instance, the river was accessible from the back yard and a fire pit area was located near the back deck. We enjoyed a few nights on the back deck wrapped in a blanket drinking hot tea in the comfortable rockers. We originally came up to Washington to visit family in Longview, and I was not familiar with the town of Kalama. It is a wonderful little town with both welcoming people and fun sites to see. I will be coming here to visit again next year, if this home is available i would definitely rent again.
