Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cowlitz River

Great place to stay in when in Ashford! I rented few cabins there already and this one was my favorite. So well equipped with everything you may need. It was clean and comfy.

What a cute place to stay, they gave us a tour of the non profit farm and got to see all the animals and 750lbs Gertie the friendly pig. They washed dishes for us and anything we needed. I would recommend staying at this farm if you love farm animals.

Felt like our own home. Had a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Airbnb! Probably one of the best we've ever stayed at! Very spacious--it seems to be a cabin that originally held one or two small bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, and kitchen, but they've cleverly added a second story that allows for a loft in the main room (and a back porch with fire pit and hot tub!) at some later time. More than enough space for a family to spread out. The woods are full of singing birds and at one point a bunch of black-tailed deer wandered into the driveway, which was cool. The hot tub is probably lovely at any time of the year, and even in early summer the wood stove was nice to warm up the place. Easy access to the national park too! Getting there is a little tricky because the subdivision that contains it is weirdly labyrinthine--Tammi provided extra directions for reaching the cabin. Overall, highly recommended!

What a fantastic cabin for some Mt. Rainier adventures. Cozy and warm and i just love the astatic that the owners choose. Private, quiet and romantic for sure. Hot tub was clean and perfect, private and under the cover of massive trees. Used the tub on cold and rainy night, tress kept much if the cold rain away. Bed was very nice with great linens and blankets. Local deer wanted to befriend me both mornings. Host provided all needed info and some about the local area. A beautiful and cozy cabin to stay at for some privacy and rest after exploring Mt. Rainier. If available in the future, i will definitely return when visiting south Mt. Rainier. 5 stars.

Jen and her family were great hosts, we felt right at home and welcomed. They made sure to check in if we needed anything or answered our questions when we were curious about something . I would definitely recommend to others ! It was a beautiful stay and very quiet 10/10 .

It's a fabulous place with a hot tub and campfire facilities. It doesn't feel like the property is literally beside the main road yet extremely serene and beautiful. It felt like we were inside a forest. 100% recommended. It is very near to Ashford and Mt Rainier. The interiors were amazingly aesthetic. Had a lot of handwritten notes and that was a beautiful touch and felt personalized because it felt like the hosts were with us all the time guiding us when needed. Loved it!!

Genevieve remained very responsive and ready to assist throughout the duration of our trip. The tiny house is located is a great location and we loved the chickens and greenery in the yard. Would love to stay here again.

We stayed here long-term while house-hunting and had the most amazing time. This space felt like home, the hosts were kind and very welcoming, and the neighborhood was a dream. Very walkable and historic. This ended up being our new favorite neighborhood in Portland! Thank you James for the most perfect stay. Highly recommended!

The perfect little cabin just a few miles from Mount Rainier National Park. Will highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. The creek behind the cabin really adds to the experience. Loved every minute!

It is exactly as described and we had a great stay - it was just the two of us plus our small dogs and we were very comfortable. It is absolutely beautiful inside and very relaxing with the fan going and the sun pouring in the windows! Only thing to note for future travelers is if you need complete darkness to sleep, you should bring a sleep mask.

Nice property right by the River. Comfortable stay and a good value. Beds were comfortable. The hosts set up a fire in the fire pit for us which was a nice bonus. They were also flexible on check out time.

Super cute and cozy place to say. The high ceilings and natural light make the space feel bigger. Loved being able to have my dog there! Great location. Very walkable. The rose garden is a few blocks away, right now is the perfect time to visit!

This place was an incredible stay in north Portland and close to where we needed to be. The amenities were awesome and more than expected. Very good communication and helpful! Would definitely book this place again in the future.

This Airbnb was great! It had everything we could think of and more. We loved walking down to the street to different restaurants and shops.

The location and amenities at this rental was perfect for my needs for my trip. I was able to get from the airport to the home very easily using public transportation. There are multiple grocery stores within a 12-30 minute walking distance, tasty places to eat, ample recommendations from the hosts, and it was a 5-minute walk from where I was studying for the week I was there. All of the instructions were clear and I will definitely keep this rental in mind the next time I come to Portland.

Oceana is always the greatest host. She responds immediately to problems/questions. We have family who live nearby and have stayed there several times. It is “cozy” and there is a great park across the street! It is also convenient to public transportation and near some good restaurants.

I'm so happy I found Bay and Mike's place. Their house and space is beautiful, they are very responsive and so nice. The neighborhood is gorgeous for a walk and close to so many cool spots in Hollywood, also the train that will take you downtown. I will absolutely stay here again.
