Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cowlitz River

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Debbie's place for 3 weeks and it was everything we had hoped it would be. Our toddler had the time of her life in this home. We stayed very busy during our trip, but being able to walk through historic St. Johns and view the St. Johns Bridge at sunset nearly every evening was just as memorable as anything. The backyard had even more space than expected from the photos with different types of trees and flowers; along with plenty of squirrels playing in the branches, which our daughter absolutely loved! A neighbor has a pond in their backyard which gives sounds of light running water and a family of croaking frogs. Very calming! The home was well stocked, I don't think there was ever a time we needed something that we didn't have. Walk up the road to Wonderwood Springs for coffee/ice cream. It's a space unlike anything you've seen before, Mike Bennett's work is top notch and you'll see his art all over town. Thank you for everything!

this is our second year having Thanksgiving at this air bnb. Both years has been great and they are extremely responsive. The beds are comfortable, we cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner there without issues. The house is clean, quiet and comfortable, with the 2 living rooms it is plenty of space. we set up the video games upstairs for the kids and they could stream movies from our lap to onto the projector screen. We did crafts at the dining room table and had fun in the backyard. highly recommend

This is a beautiful place! The area is peaceful and well maintained. It was cozy and nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable. Nicole did a wonderful job stocking the basics ++. Loved the restaurant recommendations. Ate breakfast in Mossy Rock and had a family dinner at The Great China Wall. Excellent 4 night stay!

Tim is super friendly and helpful in the extreme. There was nothing missing and they went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible for enjoying our family for which we were grateful. It is a basement apartment space with the owners living above so perhaps be aware of that. There are large windows with a great view so it doesn’t feel much like a basement. We only point it out so future tenants aren’t surprised like we were. The hosts are wonderful and if you prefer a hosted place you should seriously consider this one.

Elena's house is one of the best AirBnb's we have ever stayed at. It is spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. It is a real home away from home! Elena has thought about each and every little detail to make your stay most enjoyable: plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen with spices, cookbooks, all possible kitchen utensils and plenty of bottled water in the fridge; comfortable beds with plenty extra blankets, pillows and throws; home slippers of all sizes, board games, TVs in every room and flawless wifi. The home has a beautiful backyard with comfortable chairs, gazebo and a grill. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful and safe. The check-in/check-out instructions are clear and simple. Elene is super responsive, caring and a wonderful person. We would stay at this AirBnb again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to any other visitors in this area!

Cozy cabin in a gorgeous peaceful location. Everything we needed was there, including a pre-laid fire! The views were gorgeous and made for the perfect get-away!

Super cute place. Walkable and great area, super cute backyard, great kitchen and cozy space. Especially loved the fireplace and cozy chair by the window to read and relax. A perfect getaway place for us to stay and get some much needed rest. Legit would have loved to stay another week. Would definitely come stay again. 10/10 didn’t want to leave.

Had a great stay at Adam’s Airbnb. I requested to book last minute and even though they weren’t planning on having anybody stay there, they got the place cleaned up and allowed me to check in. The neighborhood is beautiful and I was a huge fan of the location. I have stayed in a good amount of ADU’s, and their space was the most well put together / highest quality I have seen. It seems all too common that hosts get cheap and low quality items to fill their space with. It was able to feel like home for the few days I was there. Other notes (that I care about before renting): WiFi consistently gave me around 300mbps down, there is a bidet in the bathroom which was great, the lighting throughout the unit was fantastic, and the bed / pillows were very comfy. Would recommend!

What a wonderful, nice, and warm atmosphere was created by the gas fireplace here! It was a game-changer for our winter stay. The place looks like in the pictures, nicely decorated, giving a feeling of a new/renovated place to stay. It was so pleasant to find some sweets left by the host for us. Molly did her best to make us feel comfortable and was very flexible with check-in, check-out, and when we wanted to extend our stay. Molly also provided a huge foldable table at our request and allowed us to use a part of her garage to store some of our belongings (a closet in the bedroom is really tiny), adding extra convenience. Occasionally, it took time to get a response via Airbnb messaging. There is only street parking available, and usually, the space near the house is limited, but you can still find a place not far from the house by the street. Overall, we had a great stay here. The space was very convenient inside as well as by its location.

Libby and Craig were wonderful hosts, and the space they provided was wonderful, cozy and inviting. There was plenty of privacy! I loved the isolation of the place, and it was a beautiful location, but in March it was very cloudy obscuring some of the views of the location. It provided a great base of operations for me and my partner to check out the local area and go on hikes. I forgot my jacket after checkout and texted Libby to see if I could return to get it, and they were very helpful and responded quickly to help me get my jacket back. I would recommend any space hosted by them!

We had a great stay over Christmas while visiting family! The place was spacious and had individual heating units in each room. The hosts were responsive and very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

This is our third stay at Colleen’s place and as with the other two everything was just great. The apartment is perfect for us and feels like our Portland home away from home. We will always stay at Colleen’s place when we visit Portland. Thank you Colleen and Ken!!
