Really nice place to stay, the hot tub and sauna was a nice touch. Will definitely be going there again in the near future. Highly recommended.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

This was the perfect location for a few days of peace and quiet - utterly beautiful location, super views, and the hot tub just made it perfection. Even when the weather was a bit ropey there was the hot tub and that view to enjoy. Great hosts, lovely dog walks round about and so many interesting things to do in the area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

I had myself a lovely stay at David's Airbnb. The surrounding area is absolutely lovely and the host, David, is even more so. If you're looking for a place to stay, you've found it.

Great weekend, thanks Jess! The hut was really sweet, great use of the space and thanks so much for all the extra gifts Prosecco cake etc. Hot tub was amazing! Would recommend walking from the hut to Tewkesbury. Great views at the top of Norton Hill and then dropping down to walk alongside the river into the town which is lovely. 8 mile walk, we had a superb meal at an Italian restaurant and got a taxi back !!

What can I say one of the best air bnbs yet! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with the added bonus of covered outside area, fab to sit outside on a night with the fire going! we had the pleasure of meeting Roger, super friendly and happy for us to grab wood when needed. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need and really clean. Loved that there was so many recommendations on what to do. Two pubs in walking distance with safe quiet roads to walk along. If you have little one the red lion was perfect with a little outside play area. The yew tree is close and lovely walk through the cider orchard, didn't eat there but the Pizzas looked awesome. We will 100% be back, if you are looking for a quiet get away where you can leave your car and get away from everything this is definitely for you!

Loved our stay at Offa’s Dyke Retreat. The location was gorgeous with wonderful views, especially first thing when the mountain glowed orange! Beautiful carriage with everything we needed. Hot tub was fab. Garden was great with picnic bench and another set of table and chairs with a fire pit. High hedges offered privacy but I could see the lawn where my kids played, perfect. The communal kitchen/lounge was a great bonus too and would come in super handy if the weather wasn’t great. They absolutely loved it too. Shop just up the road and a lovely pub that does tasty food. We stopped at Waun Fach on our way for a picnic and walk, outstanding views along Gospel Pass. Would highly recommend Joey’s place. Thanks for having us!

A lovely peaceful location in beautiful surroundings. Hot tub and peace was just perfect! Rich was the ideal host; friendly and approachable. He really gave off the impression that nothing would be too much effort! Thank you for a great stay! We will be back!

Wonderful Pod, lovely place to have your own BBQ and campfire. Highly recommended!

This is such a lovely pod with amazing view and everything we wanted for a little getaway break. Nick and Adriana have been really nice and helpful throughout our booking. We had a great stay and can’t wait to visit again!

Me and my partner stayed here for a few nights and had the best little break away! Private with beautiful views and very peaceful. The bathroom/ kitchen were pristine and fully functioning. Comfy bed, lots of room. And the hot tub of course was a lovely addition that was well kept. We will definitely be back :)

This wonderful, cosy hut has everything you need and more. The location is fantastic, Shirley in the village shop was super helpful, ordering the paper for us and fielding my emergency Amazon delivery. You can really switch off here and just soak up the nature. Where else can you lie in bed and watch yellowhammers? A true gem of a place and we can't wait to go back. We had a lovely stay- my friend and I were in the area for an event, and as we now live quite far apart, took the opportunity to stay somewhere beautiful. You are on the edge of a farm; there are sheep audible in the fields next door, and an impressive array of birds who sang the most delightful chorus outside. We paid to have the hot tub heated on arrival- would recommend this as it takes a while to heat up otherwise. It meant we could have a dip, walk to the local village pub for dinner, and return to the hot tub after too. I informed Ruth that my friend was coeliac so couldn’t have gluten- she kindly checked what would help and provided a gluten free loaf. There was also a bottle of milk, some margarine and jam in the fridge though as these had been used by previous guests there were crumbs in the marg so my friend couldn’t have it but had some bread and the eggs, along with milk for tea, so we did hugely appreciate those. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend a stay here

Absolutely loved my stay in the Hay trailer! The place is cosy, authentic and peaceful - perfect for a quiet trip away. But still a short drive to Bath City, which is a fantastic place to see with loads to do. Sophie is a lovely host, responsive and provided lots of recommendations. Her place is brilliant to have long walks and really unwind. Cannot recommend enough!

The Shepherds Hut was lovely and the surrounding garden beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the information pack sent through before we arrived was very useful. We were lucky with the weather but it wasn’t quite cold enough to take advantage of the wood burner! Managed a long cycle ride - the 2 tunnels route, beware the hills on your return! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing cabin, location is perfect facing a private field so you’ve got a really nice outdoor space. The separate bathroom is really lovely. Not brave enough to try the outdoor shower but in summer I’m sure it would be lush. The fridge had been stocked with basics as well as a tea and coffee table. Would definitely come again!

Lovely Safari tent in a secluded woodland; the location was great! The tent was super comfortable and we had a lovley time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend break ☺️

We had a lovely, long weekend at The Hut on the Hill - it’s a lovely little space, with brilliant views (from the hut and the hot tub!). It was a very short and convenient drive to many sites for woodland walks in the Forest of Dean, which we and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed. The grounds around the hut are also secure, so it was great for them to be able to have some space to relax. Mandy and David are proactive hosts who were happy to leave us to our own devices but also drop us a message to check all was well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away in the cotswolds, peaceful and beautiful surroundings and such a gorgeous hut. Alice was also super responsive and thoughtful, and lit the hot tub ahead of our arrival. We loved staying here!

Charlotte was extremely accommodating and friendly throughout booking and our stay. She was fast to respond and very very helpful with my questions and helping arrange a suitable check in for our situation. The accommodation itself was perfect. Clean, tidy and just what we needed. It had all the essentials and we even met Bruce the cat who was so friendly! It felt nice and private and there were very clear instructions that were easy to follow about where to park and how to access the summerhouse. It was perfect for what we wanted and again Charlotte couldn’t have been more helpful. Would recommend!!
