The location is AMAZING! Love the history of the space.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Wonderful apartment on a quiet little street. Perfect location, easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and historical sites. Delicious little bakery/coffee shop right around the corner filled with locals. Parking was super easy, close to rental unit, free, and safe. Our host was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Overall perfect place to stay while visiting Evora.

It was a pleasant surprise to meet Avis and Mr. Rui's Casa Amarela I recommend it, it's even better and more beautiful than in the photos : )

Lovely flat in a great location.

Our stay was super quiet and wonderful. The house was very clean, smelled wonderfully well and the thermal insulation of the house promises no need to turn on the AC. Also excellent sound insulation outside the apartment. Very well located, close to all points of interest in the city. And a spectacularly friendly and flexible host. We felt very welcome. A pretty perfect airbnb in Evora. Had everything we needed to really feel at home on our travels, a well stocked kitchen with utensils to cook. Loved it!

We loved the stay! The house is a true haven in the middle of nature, perfect for resting and disconnecting from the world. The location, within the nature reserve, is simply wonderful. Edite was super friendly and tireless. Always willing to help and made us feel very comfortable. I recommend it!

Another fantastic few days in this gorgeous space, love the selection of books on the shelves, well equipped kitchen, and very fast response from Lawrence and on-site (but at a distance) housekeeper. Cannot fault the house for a family break.

We had an awesome stay at Edite's house. The house is located in a small village named Arez, which is an excellent location to use as a base to explore the Alentejo region. Many interesting places (beautiful beaches, ruins, historical sites, etc.) are within 30 minutes or an hour drive thus making this location ideal for day trips. The house is super super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The quiet outdoor area, with amazing views of rice fields and countryside, is ideal for enjoying an outdoor meal. The beds are comfortable and even the beautiful cotton linens were pressed! Our host (Edite) was such a pleasure to get to know as she is so personable and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxed environment surrounded by friendly people, Edite's house is the place. We've stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and this property stands out as one of the best. A huge thank you to Edite for helping to make our Portuguese vacation a wonderful experience!!!

First of all, I would like to highlight the host's sympathy! From the beginning, contact was very easy and friendly. Regarding the accommodation, it corresponded perfectly to the description and was in perfect condition. The rooms are beautiful and there is clearly a "theme" for each of them. The decoration is really very tasteful. We were 7 adults and 1 baby staying there and it was just perfect. The house is spacious, the living room is also large and friendly. And the village is quiet and close to the surrounding cities. It was a relaxing 5-day stay. On our next visit to Alentejo, we will not hesitate to return. A big thank you anyway!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful accommodation in the countryside of Portugal this is the place to be! We had a very relaxing stay here. Maria was such a lovely host and gave us great tips for the area. For us the best part besides the pool was the grill area next to the apartment! We’d love to come back in the future!
