Great place to stay if visiting fort William at a good price 👍

This is a special spot if you love the outdoors. Such a wonderful location.

The cabin was very cosy, clean and Val gave clear instructions about how to find it. We lit the wood burner when the weather was wet and windy and it was very effective at warming the place up. The location near the station was great and we enjoyed watching the trains. The station cafe was excellent as was the Station House Restaurant at Corrour. We got up early and walked to Corrour for breakfast then got the train back. We’ll always remember it!

Absolutely loved my stay for two nights in the Star Hut. Just the perfect location, being able to step off the sleeper train and there you are in the middle of nowhere. Rannoch Moor is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend doing the walk from Corrour to Rannoch. The hut itself was lovely. I took some dried food with me so the kettle in the hut was perfect. Bill left plenty of water and a jug of milk in the fridge. The honesty box in the station was well stocked with sandwiches available and accepted card. The toilet was also very clean. I've stayed in quite a few Air bnbs but this one is definitely one of if not my favourite. Hope to return soon!
