We absolutely loved it! It was warm, comfortable, and overall well thoughtout!

Great place to stay to explore Orkney. The annexe to the house was well designed as a holiday let. We were a family of 3 and it was the perfect size, would be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. There was a lovely sunny outside space to sit and read or eat.

This is a special place and for us it was absolutely perfect. Quiet and peaceful with spectacular views of the ever changes sea. Close to all Neolithic sites and Kirkwall. We were able to cook at Trowietoon which was a pleasure. We had daily walks on the beach. Perfect unwinding. Irene was so helpful and we loved her quick wit and stories.

We would book again if we return to Orkney. Dionne was very helpful. The area is well placed for Scapa Flow and the historic places so important to Orkney. The house has a small outside lawn with hedges for privacy, walkers with time could reach the cliffs but easy short drive to parking too. We were 3 adults for just a couple of days and were very comfortable. Great bathroom and views across fields on that side of house.
