Loved Casa Hormiga! Cute, quaint, hut was the perfect place to start my time in Costa Rica! So sad I missed out on one night with airline delays. Jose is so friendly and a wonderful host! I opted for a craniosacral massage service and to go see the 500 year old tree up the street. It was a glorious day! He also gave other wonderful recommendations of things to do/see in the area.

Wonderful stay. The view and surroundings were spectacular and the home was comfortable, clean and well appointed. It was especially fun for our little one, with toys, games, books and playthings provided. Good kitchen for cooking.

Everything was great. This was a perfect place to stop for a night on our way to Santa Teresa. Woke up to howler monkeys across the street and watched them all morning!

it was a wonderful part of our Costa Rican trip to stop here for 2 days. the cottage is as described, rustic, one with nature and surrounded by a beautiful setting and animals! Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the tour Alexander gave our family, which allowed us to learn more about a way of life that is respectful of nature and the resources we share.
