Pros: – Cute and cozy cabin in a peaceful location within walking distance of several restaurants and the coop supermarket – Highly proactive and responsive hosts who provided clear instructions and plenty of helpful local recommendations (Only) Con: – Stairs to the bedroom loft are loud and squeaky, which becomes a problem if you need to use the bathroom at night since it’s located on ground level: need to be alert to avoid waking up any other guests and/or slipping and falling yourself

Great place, very clean, extremely well located, good facilities. the lower bedroom has good curtains but the upstairs bedroom is quite light in the morning, maybe worth packing some eye shades if you're a light sleeper, don't let it put you off, a great place to stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying at the Beach House Cabin. Brock and Erin were great hosts; they were responsive, professional and very friendly in their communication. The cabin surpassed our expectations with a beautiful view of the water and a serene oasis. We will definitely come back in the future :)

The space was perfect! Great location, comfortable bedding, nice hot tub, quick access to the beach and absolutely amazing sunset views from the balcony. Hosts were great, lots of helpful info and super responsive. Awesome stay in Ucluelet and would love to come back!

We had a fabulous 4 day stay with perfect weather! We loved the access to the sea, the views from the balcony especially at sun set, the peaceful location and the hot tube. Our family loved our stay here. Leah is the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. The cabin’s location was perfect for us, close enough to family gatherings in Courtenay but in such a serene place we could unwind in the evenings and enjoy walks surrounded by huge cedars to the beach for the beautiful sunsets. Very dog friendly and we just adored meeting Timber and loving on her too. It was so perfect!

We enjoyed our 6-day stay at this cottage. It was quiet and peaceful, and very comfortable. It was also well-located for our explorations. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a good assortment of herbs and spices. We also appreciated having plenty of towels. The long-stay neighbours are friendly and helpful, including giving us information about the area. The binder in the cottage was also useful for this. A couple of tips for future guests: - the coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring pods if you want to use it - if you use the coat-hooks on the wall behind the cottage door, remember to check them before you leave - easy to not think of it in the flurry of packing up and leaving :-)

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Baku! The location offered a peaceful escape from the city, with beautiful views and fresh air — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. Baku was friendly, responsive, and made check-in seamless. We especially loved the outdoor seating area — great for morning coffee or evening chats under the stars. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet retreat with beach access across the road!

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. Our family had a wonderful, relaxing time here. It was like a hidden cabin in the woods. Felt tucked away from everything yet was an easy drive to anything and short walk to a couple beaches. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here 3 nights at the start of June 2025 with my brothers. The place was easy to find and had unbeatable views. Would definitely return to the area again just for that balcony sunset.

Perfectly situated between Uclulete and Tofino. Super quiet and private area behind cabin. Very easy and stress free check in and out! Kat was awesome and we had a lovely stay!!

Beautifully renovated cabin, super clean, roomy, very private. Perfect location to explore the area. Jayne is very responsive, helpful and friendly. Our two day stay was too short!

The place was immaculate and set in beautiful surroundings. We arrived late, but Cody had already lit the fire, such a lovely touch. The beds were super comfy (a good night’s sleep is important to us), and the cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub was spotless, and the parasol was a thoughtful addition for sunny days. The ducks were a real highlight, each with their own little personality. We loved feeding them (hopefully not too much!) and watching them line up by the hot tub waiting for more food. Maggie and Cody were both warm and genuine, you can tell they truly care about your stay. Although it’s near a road, it’s not busy at all and you’d barely know it’s there, it’s so peaceful and quiet. I’m an extremely light sleeper and I slept incredibly well, which says a lot. We’d love to come back next time we’re on the island.

Rented the cottage for my husband and our son who were attending a mountain bike event. They really enjoyed the place which was well equiped, clean and comfortable. Paul and Dawn were very responsive and friendly... And the puppy was super cute!

A beautiful spot in the forest. The amenities are awesome. A great place to have a small group together to venture around the Powell River area or spend time being creative and relaxed. Loved it! Will go again with friends!

Our stay here was so beautiful, peaceful, and recharging. 💛☀️ The outdoor space was like a fairytale! There were little bunnies and deer walking around the space in the evening. The fairy lights and sauna made the experience so special. The home was cozy and comfortable. We would come back here and hope to again very soon!

Tania’s cabin felt like going home, but with the added bonus of being located on a beautiful, private section of lake overlooking provincial park land. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy the lake and nearby trail systems. Directly behind the cabin is a steep, paved pathway down to the dock and beach - both were hands down the highlight of our stay - spacious and set up for relaxing, while also acting as a launch point for paddle boards and kayaks. The cabin was also incredibly comfortable for our dogs - Tania added thoughtful touches just for them including comfy beds, treats, and towels. I especially appreciated the large, working grill on the back deck overlooking the water. This made meal prep easy and an absolute joy. We will be back!

Not only is the Cabin beautiful, clean, private (as the pictures show), but Tanya is an exceptional host. She truly is the best we’ve ever seen. My wife and kid (<2yrs old) had a wonderful, peaceful and exciting time. We loved it here and will be back soon! The property is beautiful. We saw 2 bears and I was able to do some fly fishing. Wow! To top it all off, Tanya and her husband Ty gave us a tour of their Dairy Farm. We saw the cows up close which was really exciting for all of us. We even got to feed the calves a bottle of milk. Absolutely above and beyond what’s expected. Thank you Tanya and family for a great long weekend filled with new memories and experiences that we’ll reflect on for years. Mara’s by the Sea is an outstanding Airbnb. Kim has thought of everything down to the finest of details, including an Expresso machine and high powered binoculars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and spent many hours watching the eagles and seals and the occasional otter at close quarters. We cannot recommend this property more highly.
