Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Bjorn and their property highly enough.

The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

Tucked along the quiet northern edge of Antioch, this house doesn’t just offer a place to stay - it gives you something to feel. Vaulted ceilings, custom barnwood beds, and raw concrete countertops set the tone: warm, solid, and built with intent. The private beach isn’t flashy - it’s better. Soft sand, still water, and no reason to rush. Grill outside, gather at the big family-style table, then sweat it all out in the sauna that feels like it was made to erase stress. The beds hit the sweet spot between firm and forgiving. Every corner of the place feels curated without being pretentious. Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

If I would have closely looked at how to get into the house, there was a symbol that I was supposed to use before I put the numbers in the door. After I figure that out, everything was great. So the mistake was on my part. The house is very cozy, and we enjoy the decor and the updated showerheads.

Plenty of room to eat and hang out for bigger families. Great basement with games and toys for kids-adults. Well stocked for cooking at home. Comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms very convenient for groups.

We were in the area for a family wedding. Decided to pull our own boat down to experience Lake Geneva. The home itself was much bigger than I imagined from pictures. Its clean. Its basic. No frills. So if you are looking for frills, probably not the place for you. There was room to park our boat off the street. The fenced in back yard with deck, table with umbrella was such a nice option. That's where we spent the majority of our time when we weren't some where else. You are just a short walk from the lake/beach area. As far as boating on the lake..... unless you like crazy busy and waves the size of deep sea fishing.... keep your boat home. (PS... we are from a very rural area, so it might just be what one is use to) The rental met all of our needs. Thank you for your hospitality

Marta was incredibly kind. She was very attentive to our needs. We were here for my daughter's bootcamp graduation. The pictures were just as described. Beautiful home with all the essentials you could think of. 10 out of 10 for sure and definitely recommend.

This is my third visit to Bettye’s place and I have loved it every time. It’s clean and neat and nestled in the heart of McHenry. I just love it so much and was so grateful she had an opening this week! I love McHenry and feel like I’m at home when I stay here. It’s so cute and cozy and she has thought of literally everything. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Wonderful stay with comfortable beds, great communication, Tea/coffee for the morning, new everything, and really clean. We appreciated Ben's responsiveness and that he went above and beyond to accommodate us for our 3 night stay. It is right near the U of W - Whitewater but quiet in the apartment. There was only some noise at night upstairs one of the nights. However, a quick text to Ben and he worked with them to get it quiet again. SO appreciated this stay and Ben's hosting skills! THANK YOU!

The place had a great location, right on the main street of town. Tons of food options are a stone's throw away. The beds were large and comfy. The set up would be perfect for 2 couples. Good sleeping arrangements we available in the living room area.

This was an amazing place to stay! The place was so cute and had a lot of great places to eat within walking distance! Can provided clear instructions for parking and entering the property and provided a wonderful list of suggestions for businesses within the MKE area! This place was also perfect for the MKE Marathon since it is right along part of the course and was close to the finish line! Would definitely stay here again!!

You will love Amanda’s place. Her decorating style is beautiful and her space is so comfortable. She has a natural approach to design. It is very clean. Amanda has thoughtful touches in her Airbnb. If you go out - the Airbnb is close to downtown. Amanda’s place is one you will love!

I stayed during Christmas. Larry put extra cookie sheets in the apt so that we could make & decorate cookies, a tradition with my kids, plus I put up a Christmas tree to! We felt right at home. The laundry machines are in the hallway making it convenient. Overall, I would stay again.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to reground yourself with nature, this is it. My kids slept amazingly in the cozy beds and had so much fun playing in the hayloft. We learned a lot about farm life and snuggled all the animals. Bente is the most hospitable host I’ve met and the kind of calm and nurturing we needed. From milking the cow, hiking the sheep trails, playing with kittens and loving on Heidi the farm dog, there was plenty to do and we felt like part of the family. The kids even got to cook with one of the farmwise school groups! We will absolutely be back soon.

Great space for a small Bach party! Close to downtown area. Had the cutest decorations with inspirational sayings along with unique pieces all around. The fire was lit when we arrived which made it that much more magical! Thank you, Tricia!

Great spot! The condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Mandy’s detailed directions and instructions made checking in a breeze. Our group of four had a fantastic time.

Absolutely perfect! Great location. Everything is within 5 minutes. The host Nicholas was super responsive. I love the guide included that recommended restaurants and things to do. Also, the Great Eggs Bistro located directly across the hall from our suite was amazing!

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

We loved Mackenzie’s place! It was a short walk to the Ridge hotel where we were attending an event. The condo was super cozy and fit our needs perfectly. And you walk outside and can see the lake! Would definitely stay here again.
