It was a place that felt like home. I felt sad to go. Everything felt like it was right around the corner. The cathedral is just behind which added such a beautiful touch! I loved to hear the bells in the morning and hear the birds chirping as you opened the windows! The apartment was perfect, the beds cozy, the WiFi was great. You do have to go up 3 flights of stairs but it’s pretty normal for Europe. I recommend you bring your car and park it outside of the apartment while you unload the suitcases. Then the parking lot the apartment has a contract with (free for you!) is just about 5-7 minute walk. There is a churrería a couple of streets down and their hot chocolate is amazing! You are a few minutes away from the beach, the rambla and everything you can think of. The staff were incredible, thank you everyone at the Lighthouse!

Patricia was a fantastic host. Extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were there during the blackout and Patricia went out of her way to ensure we had somewhere to stay if our flight home was delayed. The apartment was fantastic. Extremely clean with everything you need to enjoy a holiday or short break. The roof terrace is fantastic. A private place to relax with stunning views over the golf course to the Sierra Nevada mountains. We plan to return to Almerimar later in the year and will be looking to book again if the apartment is available.

We have just spent a fabulous 7 weeks at Gabriel's apartment. As mentioned in previous reviews the apartment is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It was spotlessly clean & with very modern appliances, truly a home from home.The large terrace was a sun trap, on which we enjoyed many breakfasts. Gabriel & Ana were excellent hosts & very responsive from our initial discussion until our last day, they couldn't have done more to help us acclimatise to Vera Playa & the surrounding areas. The bikes were a nice addition & we used them most days as there are many safe cycle paths in the area. The weather was glorious and we enjoyed many days at the local Sports club in Puerto Rey. There are two big supermarkets within a 5 minute drive & lively bars within walking distance. There are markets every day of the week somewhere in the area & there is a well stocked English library in Mojacar town. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. We will definitely return.

Un lugar maravilloso no sólo por el sitio, sino porque Swen y su familia son realmente amantes de los animales. La piscina sin duda es una maravilla. Enorme y preciosa. Somos familia numerosa y tenemos dos perros de raza gigante, en todo momento han podido estar con nosotros sin limitarles accesos, al revés. Teniendo sentido común y cariño, sin duda las mejores vacaciones de nuestra familia al completo.perros y niños con nosotros, hemos disfrutado muchísimo y descansado ¡Gracias por todo, Swen, ojalá podamos repetir pronto!

Lovely and spacious house in the old part of town. Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was great to have private parking available. We had a little trouble parking our big rental car, and Eduardo was very kind and assisted us twice. Very kind and forthcoming hosts who were easy to get in touch with. Lovely terrace, fast wi-fi. Quiet area. Approx 10-15 mins walk to good restaurants etc. We felt at home and would love to stay again!

We had a lovely time in the Mojacar area and Macenas is perfect as it is a short drive from the main strip but is still lovely and quiet. The house was perfect (it’s our second time). Very comfortable and clean. The hosts were really helpful and responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. We will definitely go back and can fully recommend Damajuana.

When it comes to Samantha, we couldn’t ask for a better host. It was cold when we arrived, but Sam was on the doorstep with wood so we could light the stove. Anything we needed or had questions about, Sam was there. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfy. Bonus points for having a great neighbour who bakes wonderful bread. If you want a relaxing and quiet stay in the countryside, book this place!

Die Wohnung von Teresa ist sehr modern und gut eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und vor allem sehr kinderfreundlich vorbereitet. Man kann auch Amazon Prime schauen, wenn man die spanische Sprache nicht beherrscht;-) Der Ausblick und die Gegend sind wunderschön. Es ist angenehm ruhig, aber fußläufig ist man schnell in der Ortsmitte mit sehr guten Restaurants. Teresa war um unser Wohlergehen sehr bemüht. Wir können die Wohnung vollstens empfehlen.

Beatriz's home is beautiful and is exactly as-is shown. The views from the balcony are fantastic. The location is about a 10 minute walk to town and the main beach although there are smaller beaches closer. We really enjoyed our stay here. As others noted, there are minimal supplies provided. Be prepared to bring your own dish soap, trash bags, etc. That said, we would happily stay here again.

No pudimos reservar el apartamento de las fotografías y Paqui pudo darnos otro alojamiento que tiene en la misma calle. Apartamento pequeño pero con todo lo necesario, muy cerca de la Playa de la Urbanización de Roquetas, se ve todo el paseo y la playa desde la ventana. Piscina en el edificio con mucha sombra y muy cómodo. Un 10 para la atención de Paqui.

Samantha y su marido han sido amables, estuvieron siempre pendientes de nosotros. Wifi estable para trabajar, la propiedad no está cerrada por lo que las mascotas deben estar siempre dentro de casa para que lo toméis en cuenta si vais con vuestros peludos. Zona tranquila, el pueblo tiene una ruta de montaña con dificultad media/alta, para los amantes del ejercicio. En general todo muy bien.
