Cottage vacation rentals in Comal River

Cute little cottage with a ton of amenities right outside of downtown Wimberley. The location is great because it’s quiet but close enough for a 3 minute trip down the road to restaurants and shops. I’d recommend cabin 1/white because your porch with hot tub is very private. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very cool place. Very laid back. Right on the water with plenty to do if you get creative. Highly recommend.

We had a great time, Tom was quick to respond when we were booking, the place was great, brought our dogs and had a really nice time. Right on the water and we had fun fishing from the lower level of the yard. Great outdoor grill and dinning area. Would stay again. Location was great and very convenient to everything.

Lovely place off the beaten path in Dripping Springs. Quiet and beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub great after a day hiking at the state park. Not set up for eating (though there is a mini fridge) - no utensils or dishes. And no coffee provided though there is a coffee maker, so bring your own if that’s your thing. Will be back!

Absolutely an adorable house with a lot put into the decor. It felt like home away from home. There are 3 types of AirBnbs: 1. Not going back there 2. That was enjoyable 3. Didn’t want to leave We definitely DIDN’T want to leave. -Neighborhood was clean. -Property and inside of the house was clean. -Easy to find. -Was private but yet people were around. -Adorable unique decor. -Solid A/C and heater. -Great water pressure. -Host was very responsive and friendly. We want to stay there again!!!

The place is very relaxing for a short get away. The quiet community is a nice change from the bustling city. Information was very clear and questions answered quickly. I only wished there were more than 2 bath towels. With then hot tub we shared one towel for that and one for the shower. Or maybe need to bring a beach towel. Otherwise very excellent

Loved staying here, wish we could have stayed longer! Loved how private it was. Perfect for 2 ppl. Hot tub felt great. Bed was comfortable and location was great easy to get to places.

What an absolute beautiful and quiet place! The cottage is probably one of the best stays I've had. There's a perfect lounge area and fire pit outside. Plenty of room to spend time on the porch or walking your dog (if approved). The cottage has amenities that make you feel right at home. Everything is so squeaky clean, leave no trace and for others to enjoy. plus there are tons of things to do close to town and even across the street from the ranch is the largest wildflower farm in the USA.

Beautiful Airbnb , the astheic of the house was enjoyable. Perfect location with minutes away from downtown and riverwalk. Enjoyed our stay, will definitely book when I’m back in San Antonio (:

This is a cozy and comfortable little cabin located in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of Canyon Lake. It is within walking distance of Potter's Creek Park and the lake.

Honestly I would love to gatekeep this property so I can have it more available when I visit Austin lol! But Luc is so wonderfully helpful + kind you can’t help to give 5 stars and make sure everyone knows this property is a hidden gem! Now, it is off the beaten path and not where you want to be if you’re looking to be in the mix and directly walking distance to downtown/zilker/fedtivals/nightlife/“new austin” things— BUT if you’re looking for a tranquil escape to return to after being in Austin all day that’s 15-30 mins in traffic (depending on time of day bc austin traffic is INSANE rn), then this property hits all your needs and makes you feel like you’re off grid living AND ITS GLORIOUS. Chirping birds, deer + you can bring your doggos. If you’re looking for extreme luxury, there may be other spots to book. If you’re looking for peaceful nature to sleep amazingly well and wakeup without the sounds of the city, this is the place. Thanks Luc, looking forward to my next trip! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect get away! Kathy was such a gracious host and kept us informed of places to visit and events in town. She gave great instructions on how to find their place and stayed in touch to ensure we had everything we neeeded. She even hung a birthday sign because I mentioned we were celebrating husbands birthday! She left us hand feeders for the hummingbirds which was one of the highlights of the trip for us. We loved watching for all the birds on the feeders, walking out to feed the goats, and just having a peaceful place to be! It was a delight to meet Kathy and Wayne. Kathy even went out of her way to help my daughter hold one of the baby goats. We definitely hope to come back again some day! We loved purchasing some of Wayne's amazing metal work! We hope to visit again soon!

We had a wonderful stay over a long Easter weekend with family! The deck area overlooking the lake is a fantastic place to hang out with family and pets. We played card games outdoors and there is a cool fort with slide that kept our We also enjoyed sitting in the shady area down by the lake with access to a hammock and chairs. The cabin is cozy and peaceful. We slept really well each night with the black-out shades. Overall, a wonderful cabin. Thank you for sharing it with us for the weekend!

This cabin was wonderful and so peaceful. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. Obvious that the host cares about details and really went beyond to make the cabin welcoming. All the many lovely touches to the cabin make it clear this cabin is a home and is loved by its owners. We saw many dear and a fox during our stay and we slept so well. Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to again.

We had the absolute BEST experience staying at this perfect little cottage near Dripping Springs! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The home is small, but every inch of it is so thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated — cozy, charming, and truly picture-perfect. It felt like stepping into a dream. The outdoor space was just as incredible — inviting, peaceful, and so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave. We were supposed to be attending a retreat nearby, but we found ourselves wishing we could just stay at the cottage instead! The home was spotless, stocked with everything we needed, and the owner communicated flawlessly, making the whole process easy and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming about coming back. It’s truly a hidden gem!

We used to live in Boerne and were coming back for a weekend visit so we were familiar with the area. Took about 10-15 minutes to get to downtown, HEB, etc. we really enjoyed the location and my daughter loved the friendly horse and cat! We kept saying “if we ever move back to Boerne, this is where we want to live!” Everything was clean, directions were easy to follow, and Lise was very friendly and responsive! Great stay! I decided to splurge on my family visit & this didn’t disappoint. My brother lives only an hour away but we were seeing Willie at the Whitewater Ampitheater (both phenomenal) and I wanted to treat us all. Brownie points all around for my choice that are still going strong! Driving up the little hill into the driveway, we found the house nestled in among the trees with a view to the lake. Clean, stylish, roomy on the inside, my 6’4” brother was delighted with the king size bed, my daughter was delighted with the little balcony off her bedroom so she could read and watch for wildlife and we loved our big bed overlooking the front where the herd of deer gathered waiting for their corn! But the weather was perfect and we spent most of our time gathered outside in the comfy Adirondack chairs or in the screened in porch. The only sad thing about the entire time was how low the water in Canyon Lake has gotten. Pray for rain soon! Thank you, Richard. My brother will be back with his clan!

We stayed here for a quick overnight trip while visiting our son who’s a TXST student. This was only about 14 minutes from his dorm and so much better than the hotels in the area. The host communicated well and the place was clean and as described. We will definitely stay again.

StoneHaus is such a great place to stay. So cool to get to say in a historical property that was once part of the Alamo farming property! Quiet, peaceful, and convenient - Alamo Plaza and the River Walk is only about a 10 minute walk from the property. You have gated, private parking as well as a gate around the home, which adds to the overall feeling of safety. StoneHaus has a wonderfully peaceful shade garden in the back, and we loved sitting and visiting there as well as the private front porch. We loved our stay here, and will definitely stay here again on our return to SA.
