The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

Lovely private suite in the back of Scott's home! We enjoyed sitting in the peaceful backyard in the evening and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed having access to a coffeemaker and the snacks were a nice touch. Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood with a park nearby. The only thing it may be helpful to know is that as you are in the back of someone's house (not a basement apartment) you can sometimes hear people in the kitchen, which must be close by. That didn't bother us, but if you are a very light sleeper you may want to be aware. Having said that, we would definitely stay again as Scott's place is a great place at a great price!
