Vacation rentals with beach access in Colorado River

This place was amazing. Clean, had everything we needed and not far from the beach. My husband and I try to get to Matagorda once a year, Matt & Suzie's Studio space will be our go to place.

The property was great. Location was perfect. We would definitely come back. Had some bad weather and didnt get to BBQ outside, but feel that would have also been enjoyable in the courtyard area. Great mini vacation spot.

it was nice and peaceful. being there is nice even if the fish is not biting it's great place to go.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back. Plenty of fun activities to do around the property. Myke goes above to make sure you’re comfortable and even got us fresh eggs and blackberries for breakfast. Best place in College Station!

The condo was lovely and comfortable. It has a wonderful patio that provided a nice place to watch the deer and other wildlife. The beds were super comfy and had nice bedding with lots of pillows. The kitchen was fully stocked with full set of pots, pans, cooking utensils, everything you might need. The onsite restaurant is great and we enjoyed a fabulous massage at the spa. We would stay again!

Had a great time with the family here and really enjoyed the wild life. We had a deer multiple nights and a cayote come by as well! Jacqueline was a great host and super responsive. Overall would stay here again.

Great house and the view was amazing. There wasn’t anything close but to do unfortunately and due to the lake being so low, there was no real lake access in the area. The only close food place down the street was closed the whole time we were there. House offered a lot and was very comfortable. There wasn’t anything close construction going on across the street and next door that took away from the peacefulness but that is no fault to the owners. We enjoyed ourselves with what we had. It was nice to just getaway. The pool and pool house was a hit with my kids. Overall it was a nice stay.

Just ducky! :) Ben was so sweet and even wished my kiddo good luck for his tennis tournament in College Station. We commuted into town each day and then hauled ourselves out to this adorable place in the evenings. It was so relaxing and just what we needed. Thanks so much for sharing your space, Ben!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The home was very nice, clean, and comfortable—exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The air bnb was awesome ! Josh was extremely responsive and helpful. They had lots of fun things to do , giant jenga , connect four , huge tv in the living room, lots of space to play in the backyard , was a great trip with the family!

This airbnb is a perfect "home" location for traveling to Sargent or Matagorda. The luxury of the near beach with the "city" amenities of HEB and some outstanding Tex Mex food. The house is clean, secure and tastefully decorated with no seashore kitsch within sight! The addition of a well stocked kitchen and a variety of "snacks" was perfect. Wi fi was available without a glitch as well. The yard is secure for pets and has plenty of room to roam after a long day in the car. The pet water bowls inside and out were very helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

We enjoyed our stay. Was a great place to stay while in town for a baseball tournament at Rocker B. Judy was very communicative with us through the entire process.

Our stay at the lake house was everything we hoped for and more. The property was peaceful, private, and beautifully situated right on the water, offering stunning views throughout the day—from misty mornings to golden sunsets. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and cozy, with thoughtful touches like board games and extra blankets. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the deck was perfect for evening barbecues and star-gazing. We spent our days lounging by the lake. There was even a fire pit where we shared stories late into the night. It felt like a perfect escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or just a place to unplug and reconnect with nature, this lake house is a hidden gem. We’re already planning our return!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with the AC the first night but Liza was very responsive and had it fixed quickly. She was very responsive and a great host. She gave me some good recommendations of places to go around town. Her post was very accurate. All the photos and descriptions were right on. It was a beautiful and relaxing get away. Escape to the Hollows was the perfect place for a “staycation”. It was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve done. John was super responsive and friendly. When you stay there you want for nothing. You don’t need to bring anything other than your clothes and personal necessities. I’m already thinking of coming back to the Austin area for thanksgiving and Escape will be at the top of my list!

I really loved our stay. It was perfect for our my husband and I, toddler and 2 dogs. They had a pack and play, which we didn’t expect, and the location is pet friendly. There was a dog patch area a few steps away from our room. The main bedroom mattress is a bit uncomfortable, but it was okay for a short stay. The place was very clean, and stocked with the basics.

Brandi's place was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay very much. My neices loved the pool and especially the beach entrance to the lake. The condo was clean and the beds were comfy with fresh nice linens. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back. Thank you Brandi

This is a hidden gem. So relaxing. We did not leave the property. Swimming pools are perfect. The on site restaurant has excellent food. The condo was spotless and had so many little special touches, snacks and cold waters in the fridge. Best hospitality ever. We will be back for sure.

We were so happy with our stay! The home was comfortable and the location and community was great! The host was so friendly and gave perfect instructions to make check-in and check-out a breeze. We visit the area often and would love to stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay. Loved that it was secluded from the city. Peaceful and we enjoyed all of the wildlife especially all of the deer. We were even able to feed them a few times. Right by lake Travis so easy to go get a boat, jet skis etc. The place itself was great with everything we needed for our stay. Super clean and with all of the amenities that were listed. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts. Look forward to staying here again. A 10 out of 10. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your place!
