Monthly Rentals in Colmeal

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

We loved the stay at Antonio’s Place. He was really helpful with recommendations for hiking etc. The view is amazing and eating breakfast in the sun as well as having dinner in the sunset was superb. Would highly recommend staying here!

Extremely attentive and welcoming host, there was always concern about our arrival at the house, as well as the recommendation of places to visit, restaurants to eat and activities to do! Very clear and attentive communication! Very natural, picturesque and calm area for a weekend to disconnect with river beaches and pools nearby! I highly recommend it, especially for the attention given by the host

I had the most wonderful and relaxing 4 days anyone could wish for. A real treat for the soul. Horácio and Aurea welcomed me in their house and treated me like family. There was nothing I’ve missed. Many hiking trails around this lovely mountain village, with breathtaking views. The weather was pretty warm, but there are enough Praia fluvial, and streams around to cool down. The sunsets in Monte Frio are beautiful, as the town is so high up, you’re basically overlooking everything. We had a language barrier, but we communicated from the hearts and were able to make it work, otherwise we could always rely on their son Tiago to translate :) I thank you all for this special time, and I will be back some day!
